For Samsung B3310, it seems that you need to download an MP3 file first and follow the instructions that the site will give you. Check the link below:

http://www.ventones.com/

Since you already the ringtone saved in your phone, you may follow the instructions below:

1. Go to Menu > Settings > Phone Profile:

2. You will be presented with a list of phone profiles. ticked. Highlight the one you want to use (in our example, Normal) and press the Edit button.

3. You are taken into the profile settings. At the top of the list you'll notice three tab icons - these represent (from left to right), ringtone, message alert, and keypad sounds. You can switch between settings for these by selecting one of the tabs.

4. You should be taken first into the ringtone settings list. Should you want to change the Call alert type (from melody to vibration then melody, for instance) tap this option and scroll through the list of options to choose the one you want.

5. Press the Sounds option. You now have the choice of choosing from your Music files, Ringtones that are loaded onto the phone. You can select from whichever of these folders you want - the setting procedure is the same for each. In our example, we'll choose from our Music folder to select one of our tunes as the new ringtone.

Thank you and good luck!

Hi...
Any audio file of any format or size can not be set as a ringtone. Check your manual for supported format and maximum size limit... or samsung can set the file as ringtone only if it is saved on phone memory so you can also try by saving file on phone memory and then after setting as ringtone...
Hope this has helped you... thanks

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I want to download an app to download songs and ringtones

Method 1:
Transfer the song(s) you want to set as ringtones onto the microSD card either by connecting to pc via USB or using an SD adapter. Next, Tap on the Music Player, open the music list, press the menu button and select PLAY ALL, this will scan your SD card for music/audio files. Once all your songs have been added to the list, select the song you want to set as ringtone and click MENU key, choose SET AS RINGTONE and that will take you to the RIngtone Trimmer, make the ringtone 30 seconds or less, select Trim and you're done.

Method 2:

Root your HTC Hero, create a directory in your C: drive and name it HeroRIngtones, HTC, or whatever and put there all the ringtones you want to be added (30 seconds or less), then open Command Prompt; make sure your device is connected and already visible. Run the following command "adb push directoryname/myringtone.mp3 /system/media/audio/ringtones" and press enter. Do same procedure for all the audio files you want to set as ringtones.

Method 2 is not available for non-root users.

Im trying to sync pics and ringtones to my phone but its not working

if your phone has bluetooth activate it and make it visible. If your PC has bluethooth do the same and it should find the phone automatically. After it does you can send pics and ringtones to the phone from the PC. You can also view the pics/ringtones on your phone, as you do you should have a menu feature to let you send them via bluetooth. Hope this helps.

I have a Samsung Rant, received ringtones via bluetooth

I've never received ringtones via bluetooth, but I do know Samsung made it ridiculously hard to customize your ringtones on the Rant. The only way I know of to do it, other than going online on the phone and downloading ringtones there, is to use a site like Myxer to send the songs you want directly to your phone.

SGH-D807 ringtones

Hey bro,

I had the same problem a few weeks back and heres the solution;

1) Get Samsung pc studio 3..... (look in google)
2) Open up the program...
3) Click Multimedia manager...
4) Import the songs you want by drag and drop...
5) Right-click on the song you would like to use as your ringtone and click ''edit and repair button''...
6) from here you can edit parts of the song in many ways... keep in mind that the song cannot last very long (around 500kb max)
7) connect your phone to your pc via usb and click on the ''to phone'' button on the bottom right of the window...
8) Enjoy
