Question about HP Photosmart C7180 All-In-One InkJet Printer

No go , error mesage says ink delivery system fault . I am a qualified electronics tech but not worked on printers so any help would be appreciated. Peter Damiani

This means that the cartridges no longer communicate correctly with the printer. First you need to take them out and clean the contacts - both on the cartridge and the carriage. Then you need to reset it : unplug the USB cable and restart the printer; take out the cartridges and restart the printer; wait for the Insert Ink Cartridges message to display and restart the printer - wait one minute before powering it; again wait for the message and put the cartridges back in. That should be enough.

Fault code:IDS right unit faulty...
Location: Remove left cover, you can observe the unit where we insert ink cartridges.
IDS:Ink Delivery system: This unit contains two individual units called as right & left units with respective DC motors... Each unit maintains three ink cartridges to push the inks to print heads through ink tubes.
How to shoot the problem: The easy method is to replace IDS unit (well known as Ink supply station).its costly affair.
For tech guys only: Remove left cover, disconnect IDS cable from electronic module, remove screws,take out IDS, remove both motors. Now rotate manually both pumping shafts, you can observe the right shaft harder then left, result motor unable to run the unit as same as left unit. Now follow the snap shots lubricate as shown in movie, once its done perform IDS test through diagnostic test.(entering in diagnostic mode:shut down the unit using the power button through control panel,hold UP & OK button power on, wait till printer enters in to the mode, scroll to diagnostic test & utilities, scroll to Ids test. if its passed you are succeeded or else try once again the same process. Pl don't do this R & D if you are not confident..This is my experience try it.. Best of luck

My C6280 was working fine then all at once it started to print very light. I have not got any error messages. I cleaned the printhead and it was pretty good on the first page I printed, the second page...


Hi.

The machine does not monitor the pressure of the ink. If there is a problem due to blockage of ink nozzles or defective print-head or cartridge it will not be detected by the main control. When instead the problem is the ink delivery system that transports ink from supply station to carriage print head, the problem will usually get spotted by main controller board and you get a "ink delivery system failure" error.

If the ink is fading is generally either cartridges or print-head. If you have already tested the cartridges by replacing them with cartridges from a different lot (make sure they are not refilled but new ones), then the problem is usually the print-head.

Cleaning the print-head with the option available in HP software will rarely help to solve this kind problem. You can try removing the whole ink carriage and soaking the part in isopropyl alcohol for about two day. The assembly is held to the rail and gets released using a gray tab on top back and disconnecting the cable at the back. Removal of the upper cover is usually needed. Printhead is HP part number 5069-7161.

Errorcode 93:11 on HP designjet 4000


Unable to pressurize the IDS(ink delivery system). Ink Pumping problem.

Corrective Action: Try the following:
Remove ALL the Ink Cartridges and reinstall them one by one in to the
Printer.
Replace the Ink Cartridges.
Replace the APS Assembly.
If the System Error continues, replace the Ink Supply Tubes and Trailing

Get the Ink Supply Station replaced.
Get a tech to do the work. You will not want to do the work yourself.

Take your printer to a qualified technician, who can replace the ink-absorber, and "reset" the printer, to indicate that the new absorber is 0% full.

Canon Pixma MP 800 When it prints it just feeds the paper through there is noting printing on the paper. How xan I fix it


clean the printer head using the printer software tools, do these 3 to 4 times then print a page, if still work check your ink level, if you have a full ink cartridge and there no printer error aside from this have your printer head check by a qualified tech

Hi,

Its an internal error which means that there is some issue with the ink delivery system of the unit. Since the ink delivery system cannot be replaced the whole unit needs to be replaced.

No reset or any other steps will resolve the issue.

Epson printing not printing


If you have already tried 3 consecutive head cleanings and nozzle check from the computer, tried reseating the inks and tried replacing the ink and it still acts like its printing but just provides a blank page chance are your printer already has hardware issue. The ink delivery system is already clogged. If your printer is still within the 1-year warranty period I suggest that you call Epson Tech support for more options otherwise, you would need to get the product repaired by an Epson certified service center.
