1. Check the device manager to see if there is a conflict. 2. Reinstall the driver 3. Special Note: Acer actually put 3 different brands of cameras in that model. So, if the laptop or manual doesn't tell you which one was installed in your particular machine, you may need to install each of the three drivers one at a time to see which one registers and gets the camera working. 4. Just in case you were interested as I would be... Acer does not consider this laptop to be Windows 7 ready.
