Hi

I have a new SMEG Ceramic Hob and it is just lovely. It was fitted by a qualified fitter. However, once the zones heat up the 'red' glow dies out and comes back on and off intermittently? Is this normal? I thought they stayed glowing red until you turn them off. Or is it more likely to be faulty?

There is still high heat but am I losing power?
