How to replace battery in Zojirushi NP-HBC18 Rice Cooker?

Not that exact model, but I have replaced the battery in two others. The unit will likely have four screws in the bottom, possibly some snap-together hooks on the sides. The battery will be on the small circuit board under the display and buttons. It should be a CR2450 or similar sized 3V cell with two tabs soldered to the circuit board. My local battery store did not have exact replacements, but any 3V cell with the proper tab spacing will work. Make sure to note the polarity of the old cell prior to removing.

How do I replace a battery on zojirushi rice cooker

You will probably find (like I did) that the battery is a large (about 30mm diamter and 10mm thick) lithium one that is soldered directly onto the main PCB. You will need to open the cooker (ensure that it is unplugged) and remove the PCB. There will probably be a lot of different size plugs on the PCB which you need to remove first. On my cooker I found that these were all different sizes and/or colours, so the could not be mixed-up. Unsolder the battery from the PCB and solder a PP3 battery connecter in its place. Replace the PCB and run the PP3 connector to a suitable space inside the case (away from any 'live' items). Place two AA/penlight 1.5 lithium batteries into a 3 Volt holder and connect this to the PP3 lead. Then secure the holder in a suitable location inside the case. In future changing the batteries is much easier!!! Note that when you open the case, the screws are on the base of the cooker, and there are also some plastic clips which help hold the case together - pull carefully to release these once the screw have been removed.

Tiger jag-s wont start

I have a Tiger jag-s and it had the same problem and I fixed it just by replacing the lithium battery. It's little bit tricky though to replace the battery. You can take the bottom cover off by removing the 4 screws (this part is fairly straightforward). Once you take off the bottom cover, you'd see a circuit board at the front side (it's vertically installed). You'll see the lithium battery on the circuit board. But the lithium battery is sort of soldered on, as others already pointed out. Now is the tricky part. To take the battery off, you better take the circuit board out first. To do so, you need to disconnect the wires and take the three screws out. But before you unplug the wires (that's easy), you SHOULD take a nice photo first so you'll be able to replug them correctly afterwards. Check your photo to make sure you'll be able to recognize all the wires and clearly see how they are plugged before you take action. Once you take the circuit board out, you need just figure out how to get the battery off. I found it's really not soldered on because I couldn't get it off by heating it with a solder gun. So at the end, I just used a box cutter to pry the two wire plates off the battery. Do whatever you can, but just be careful not to break the plates. Once the battery's off, I just used tapes to fix the new battery on (make sure the battery's in the right direction). Once the battery's replaced, the cooker works fine as before.

Where is the lithium battery located on a JAE-A18U model?

Removed 4 screws with black plastic on the bottome. Then slowly seperate the lower housing. Lithium battery is located on the electirc diplay unit which has 3 screws. Unfortunately, the battery is soldered on and will require a shop with soldering experience to replace. I'm having the flashing 0:00 issue and my rice cooker is not working.

Replacing clock battery on the ecj-b35s

This web site has a photos on how to open the Sanyo rice cooker:
http://www.efsowell.us/ed/SanyoECJ-B35SRiceCooker

The solution shown is to install an external battery pack,
but in the battery looks like a 3 volt Panasonic CR-2354/HFN .

(picture is too blurred to read a part number,
so you should check your own cooker).

http://www.digikey.com carries this part
(listed as P274-ND) for $1.90 plus $7.50 UPS ground service
(only carrier authorized to ship lithium batteries)

I used this battery to repair my William Sonoma SR-MK10S
Fuzzy Logic Rice Cooker which is the same as a
NationalSR-MM10N. I found the Panasonic repair manual at
