Question about MGE Galaxy 3000 UPS System
I hope you check all your batteries, to make sure they are fine. Also temp of room should be around 70 degree f. Check to make sure batteries are not over 3 years old... Might need replacement. Batt temp is a serious alarm.

I have a temperature fault in my galaxy 3000. Try to clean the radiator behind the cabinet with the air compresor and clean all the fan inside so air circulation is good. Don't know about batt temperature fault. Hope this help.

Does it trip immediately or after a time? If it's immediate then there's a dead short on the line (or possibly inside the UPS). If it takes time to trip then there's a slow build up of too much current use. This is usually caused by defective capacitors in a power supply.

This is Easy,
MGE software is exclusive to them, they do this so that in the event the UPS needs any work you have to use them for remedial work, the problem is because they hold the monopoly they charge through the roof for parts and labour. you will need a factory trained engineer to turn up with a laptop to switch off the "Maintenance Alarms" I have an engineer that has the Software and availabilty to parts and we are much cheaper than MGE direct.

YUASA are selected. The backup times ranges from 1hours to 4hours for 20KVA UPS and from 1hours to 2hours
