First off, ...IF your system does have onboard video...Check your bios (usually F2, Del, or esc during post/pre-bootup) to see that your default vga adapter is set to PCI or PCI X/PCIexpress(something like that).

Then, Uninstall your ATI Drivers, double check that if your Windows Operating system is x86(32bit) or if it's x64(64bit) version. The drivers need to match. If you're running x64, 32bit modes will work, but 64 is optimal. Also Make sure in your Device Manager (found in Control Panel, under System, Device Manager) that it's the only Display Device/Driver in use... disable any others.

After Rebooting, (make sure you do this after each fix attempt), make sure your resolution is set properly.

If none of these work for you, I'd return the ATI Card, since it doesn't work properly for one of two reasons: 1. Maybe your board isn't compatible with some other hardware on your system? 2. Maybe you got a bad one, it happens.

*Personally, I've had better experiences with NVidia video cards. I'm not saying ATI isn't good, but I personally would opt for an NVidia card. they are generally more stable, more versatile and all around better in my opinion.

The most likely scenario here, is that you have either damaged your motherboard (not your fault if it's caused by the onboard vga failing).. or you need to simply disable the onboard vga and the drivers for it in the Device Manager.

Hope this helps. Please let me know, and rate me. Thanks.
Have a great day,
Christopher
Hope that helps.

According to a comment at Amazon "since firmware 3.5 Sony has blocked 3rd party USB accessories so this no longer works with a PS3. This isn't the companies fault, just be aware it no longer works on the PS3" http://www.amazon.com/PS3-SX-3-Wireless-Controller-Playstation-3/dp/B0031BWM6A

I have an sx3 wireless controller for my ps3 i have pluged in the usb and pressed the sx button and it still does not work please help

try plugging the usb lead and controller in before turning on the machine. If this doesn't work try resetting the controller. On the back of the controller is a small hole, with the controller turned on press a tooth pic into this hole, pushing a small button for 10 seconds. Then try plugging it back in and press and hold the PS button. Hope this helps...

To use your SX3 controller you need to sync it with your system first. Connect it to your PS3 via USB and then press the SX button.
