Question about LG 32LC7D Television

2 Answers

My LG 32LCD (32LC7D-UB) comes on every now and then. When powering up the light will flash green and then stop with no picture or sound. If I unplug and plug back in and the light goes red and it will now power on. Is this the micro board? If so, where can I get one?

The power supply board is the problems. That the board, where the power a/c cord plug into it.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

It could be any little thing in there if you can open it up and look for the obvious broken connections or burnt parts

like a computer it performes a P.O.S.T. power on self test. if any of the sub systems dont respond in time or out of a voltage range it will not continue to boot the programmed logic and probably disable most of the internal power lines.

Why is my LG 32LC7D TV taking 5 minutes to have a picture when turning on.?

Likely signs of a issue that is going to only get worse---could be in power supply of set (first place to look) or could be main board or something that it controls.

Kind of like "My car runs rough when cold" it is a issue that is not full blown yet.

Hard time turning on tv. I turn it on, green light flashes a few times then becomes solid green. No picture or sound. I turn it off and light becomes red. I do this at least 5 times before tv will come...

There are some capacitors on the main boardthat are low quality. You can buy a capacitor repair kit on Ebay that contains a set of capacitors to replace the offending ones - about 15-16 bucks. I soldered in the new capacitors and the TV has worked perfectly since.
