What can i do

Get the paper that is stuck out of the printer, and make sure you have the right amount of paper. It could be something else like tension, but make sure the paper is positioned correctly.

Message printer offline

Hi
How about disconnecting it completely from PC and from power.
Wait a few minutes and then connect again.
Clear any paper jams and print queues.

Hi I have a canon mp160 pixma printer and the paper will not feed, will it be cheaper to buy a new printer if so what's the difference to the canon mp250,mp270,& the mp280 printers? Thanks

Most likely it would be better to put your money towards a new printer.
I suggest you Google search for the specifications and prices from various suppliers on the Internet for a price comparison.

I just refilled the cartidges and my printer shows me error 5 .what can i do?

Hello thanks for using Fixya

E3 error is mostly because of paper jam. their may be small bit paper jam in side
There are some "micro-sensors" that detect a paper jam. There will be tiny piece of paper, or a lump of dust, inside those sensors, thus "tripping" the sensor and saying you paper jam.

To solve it
Open printer cover and check to make sure no paper or foreign objects obstructing the printer feeder

If you become sure that now really there is no paper, dust or foreign objects then
Turn the printer off, and disconnect the AC power-cable. Open the printer cover & now give the printer a "blow-job" by compressed air.
If still problem exist then best & final option is to just contact to any Canon service provider,
To get support by Canon on phone, then call at 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666)

I hope this solution will helpful 4 u
Please don't forget to click on Four thumbs which are given below & then write testimonial for my appreciation if it is helpful

HP Deskjet 5740 I have not used my printer in some time and both cartridges are half full. It printed with the black but came out with gaps in the printing so i took the cartridge out and put it back...

it is better to change the black cartige becaue there is the jam of the ink in black cartidge. or pick out the black cartidge and clean with soft paper in the place from where color is pour. then reinstall the cartidge. i hope it will ok. otherwise, change the cartidge.
