The problem is within the camera. There is a shortage or a battery failure between the negative and positve ends of the batteries. Try replacing the current batteries with new batteries (of the same kind). If the batteries doesn't make a difference then call the manufacturer. Could you give me the manufacturer and the model of the phone i could look into it ASAP

I have sony dcs-h10 that wont power on, when power button pushed (with ac adapter green light stays on & speaker chirps but not lens action and no LCD light?)

As long as the power cable is in the camera, you can't switch it on. You could try another battery, or chaco if all contacts are clean and shiny. Don't forget to close the battery cover correct. As long as the cover is not closed correct, the camera can't power on. If the contacts are dirty or oxidised, only clean with a dry cloth or cotton swabs.

After charging on my computer the blue busy light stays on and it wont turn on when i press the power on button.

Easiest solution is to remove the battery and then return the battery back to the battery compartment. Switch on and it will work. Give a feedback if helpful.

could it be that the battery is worn out and unable to hold a charge? Is there an external power supply that you are able to use instead?

Wont stay on

I just contaced Sony support for the exact same problem. If you're able to power the camera on in VIEW mode, open the rubber tab to expose the USB and DC In connections, directly above that there is a small RESET button. Get a paperclip and push and hold the button until the camera resets itself. This fixed my problems, hope it will fix yours!
