I have the same fan. Not easy to do, but squeeze the two spring ends together and slip in proper hole, one on each side of fan. Once this is done, push cover straight up and into position. The springs separate once the grill is raised and in doing so, they hold the grill in place. A bit difficult to pull the grill back down to replace bulbs, but holding grill close by the springs will help.

My memory card won't lock in place therefore I get a "no memory" card message.

Unfortunately it sounds like the locking clip inside the SD card slot is broken or some how stuck? If you can try to look inside the SD card slot in the camera with a flash light, there should be a small clip like plastic to the left sticking out. That is what locks the SD card in place. See if anything is stuck in between like debris, you might gently poke that clip and see if it is stuck? That is what locks the SD card in place, if it is broken or missing, that will require some work to replace the plastic lock.

Can't find my owner's manual ... how do you take the waffle plates off to convert to a grill?

Not certain if you're still interested in this, but there should be one spring clip on the top and one on the bottom which hold the plates in place.

One is located on the bottom, near the right side of the hinge.

This is the one on the bottom. Sorry about the image quality, but the limitation of 100K means I cannot get a much larger or clearer image.

This is the spring clip which holds in the bottom plate. Note that it is near the hinge in the rear of the unit, right-hand side.

This is the little clip in the front (there is one on the top and the bottom near the handles) which actually holds the front of the plate firm to the unit. This clip does not move, but it is necessary to get the plate under this clip, before securing the back with the spring clip.

I hope this helps. Note that you should be careful not to damage the non-stick surface when you work with the plates.

How do i attach toe grille?

Hi Debby. I presume you're referring to the grille across the bottom front of the fridge? Based on several different brands of newer fridges we've owned, they are often held in place by spring clips that fit into matching holes at the bottom of the fridge frame. Gently push the grille into its proper place, using your hands over the parts of the grille behind which the clips are located, ensuring the spring clips are aligned with the holes they go in. The spring clips will "snap" into place and hold the grille there. If clips are aligned with holes but grille isn't snapping into place, I push harder on grille with my palm over only 1 end at a time (as close to clip location as possible). Most grilles being plastic these days, use the minimum force possible to get grille back into place, remembering some need more "encouragement" than others (due to rusty clips/frame holes, extremely strong clips, etc.).
An older fridge (going on 20 years) had the grille held in place by a spring attached to each end of the back of the grille. My experience was that the grille never came completely off; it was only moveable. If a spring breaks (metal fatigue), or is disconnected from fridge frame and not re-attached, the grille may "sag" on that end, requiring a new spring (or re-attachment) or a piece of wire to hold it in place.

Bonet is stuck, put the key in turn it left and its not opening,

Look into the grill at the top you will find the bottom of 6 plastic screws, 4 you get two via the grill slots use a chisel and cut them off, Then one either end of the grill. Place the chisel between two plastic layers, gently lift , check and cut, one each end.
With a wiggle that's the top loose, There are two clips holding the bottom in place Put your fingers through the bottom slot in the grill, push down clip and greatly pull the grill, do both sides, It won't come right out but your aim to loosen it., The lock is held in place in a sleeve with a plastic clips each side, you have push the barrel with a suitable item, this is to push it out of the sleeve and out of its housing, It may need a tap!!
Gently wiggle and pull the grill off
Lock
The lock is a 'lock barrel along a shaft to a white plastic coupling' this fits in to the 'bonnet lock'
The security is at the coupling to bonnet lock in the form of a cross shaped plastic key
The key is fitted and held in place in the coupling, and when installed it's fitted in to the lock, and once it's in the lock part it will not come out, so therefore any jolt, pull, movement dislodges the plastic key from the coupling side and due to its design it will not slot back in so the lock barrel just rotates
To open you have to apply pressure on the shaft towards the left and into the coupling and turn the key in the lock barrel at the same time in a aim to get the coupling to catch the plastic key (take a few minutes) but it opens in the end if this is the fault, (alternatively remove the two bolts that hold the bonnet catch to the bonnet)
Once bonnet open remove the bonnet lock mechanism, then with draw the lock barrel, shaft, coupling, By looking in side you will understand regarding the cross key
Anyway you need to remove one of the catches from the side of the plastic key This way it will fit back in to coupling.
Reassemble

How do i remove the grill on a spacemaker microwave oven

At our Web site, we have a video available showing how to remove a typical over the range grille and control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

If you have any trouble getting the grille off once the screws are removed, slide the hood vent grille to the left about 1/4", then then pull it forward.

On some models there are L-shaped clips that fit into a slot to hold bottom of the vent.

You can find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.

We're happy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.

Im rebuilding a char-broil master flame 7000, and i need to know how to get the burner off. there are a few lock pins and some spring looking things and i don't want to mess anything up. so how do i get...

Each Venturi Pipe is held in place by the spring clip clearly visible from below (2 total). From behind, simply pull down / backwards on the clip until it pops out of the slot and hangs loose. Repeat for other pipe. Then the burner lifts out by sliding backwards / upwards.

How do I access the power window switch

I remove the silver speaker grille cover 1st. pick a place by the front bend ( by the cup holder in the door ) and insert a plastic trim tool in, and pop it loose. If you do not have a trim tool, a plastic putty knife usually will work, last resort should be a screw driver, this can mark the plastic.
95cb244.jpg
Once the speaker grille is off, the switch panel is held on with spring clips on the side facing into the truck. Place the trim tool under the edge of the switch cover, and turn anti clock wise. This will release the spring clip, do the same for the other one.

At this point, the tabs on the side towards the door can be picked up, and pulled out, freeing the switch panel from the door.

This is a brief description But the cost to me was 45 minutes, £2 for a pack of plastic rivets / screws, and I cached my bumper with the chisel £5 for a touch up stick Total £7. Well worth the time and effort
