The part you need is:

MC-300361 Trigger, Throttle

PN#: 300361
has been superceded
to PN# MC9028330301

Here is one source and the part is $5.75 plus shipping::

If you do a web search using just that line you will find multiple sources for the replacement part.

Here is the parts manual and it is item 19

I am replacing the throttle cable on a McCulloch 2816 string trimmer. I removed the broken one but cannot see where to thread the new cable through the shaft.

The throttle cable does not go through the shaft. Only the drive spring goes inside the shaft.

Blower speed will not adjust

The lever may have broken because the cable is stuck due to corrosion or a bent/damaged cable covering. Can you take off the air cleaner and work the throttle manually at the engine? You might have debris on the carb holding the throttle closed.
Also try removing the lever and work the cable end with your hand or a pair of pliers. The amount of force should be quite light. If the cable effort is too high the cable is likely in need of replacement.

Spear and jackson, sht26X, the throttle won't

I suggest taking the handle apart to see if anthing is blocking the action of the trigger from inside, like some debris. Then see if the throttle cable moves if you pull it. If necessary keep tracking it back to the carburetor, maybe there is a piece of debris in there blocking the throttle lever on the carburetor.

How do i put the throttle trigger back on stihl fs45

On the carburetor hold the throttle lever to where it would be at full throttle. Then you can put the cable back in the catch for the cable that is on the throttle lever and let go of the throttle lever. The throttle cable should work with the throttle trigger now. The throttle cable only fits one way. The larger hole on the throttle cable catch should go to the ball at the end of the cable.
I hope this helps.
If you feel you cannot do this, then I would take it into your closest Stihl dealer and ask them if they would help you. I do this small repair for free at my shop. Have a good day.

Throttle linkage

It seems that Mac engineers could have come up with something better than the M.M. kluge that they did. The problem is hooking the wire link to the plastic hook on the trigger plastic casting while juggling the front case and engine body. It appears that it should just snap together, but knowing how plastics get with age, it would appear that the trigger should be replaced every time the case comes off. I had trouble with mine and wound up straightening out the wire link end somewhat to force the parts together--it continues to work though. Hope this helps!

Installing throttle cable on Husqvarna 445 chainsaw

Try blocking the throttle arm on the carburetor in the wide-open position with a small stick, then deal with the trigger mechanism. In order to remove the cable from the carburetor, you need to remove the carburetor itself, then unhook the cable end at the throttle arm. Keep track of which fuel hose goes where if you do this. Hope this helps!

Trigger on poulan 3314 does not control speed. Saw runs at constant speed, somewhere above fast idle.

Open the cover over the air cleaner so that you can observe the action of the throttle cable and carburetor lever. Operate the throttle--normal action is lever wide open at full throttle and lever resting on idle stop screw when throttle released. If action is restricted, disassemble the handle where the throttle trigger is located and clean out the sawdust. Recheck throttle action. The throttle cable shouldn't require lubrication. Clean the air filter and check the operation of the engine. Hope this helps!
