Sounds like you have air in the hyd. lines You need to bleed the air out. You can raise the back wheels off the ground and open the valve on the hyd drive motor just enough to let the air out and run the machine for a half hour on low speed and another half hour on high speed and it should correct the problem. You need to do this on each motor or wheel. Be sure you have the correct weight oil in the unit as well. Hope this helps.

4496 CASE TRACTOR .Ran out of hydraulic oil , filled up and bleed lines , still have no steering and the brake is out ,.What valve is locked in ?

by bleeding lines where exactly did u do this ? , the place id try 1st is right off the pump to the dist block (carefully!!!) if no pressure there then a more aggressive repurdge of hyd sys is needed using another machines hyd system connected to remotes inputs off the dist block
reason 4 this is that hyd oil pumps don't just pick up oil again when run dry an have to be helped to pressure up again , Also another possible cause is that pressure relief is stuck open , this doesn't allow any pressure to build up

7FGCU45BCS TOYATO FORK WHY ARE LIFT CYLINDERS SLOW PUT NEW HYD. PUMP AN CONTROL VALVE ON ALSO CHANGED FLUID AND FILTERS COULD THERE BE AIR IN SYSTEM?

air bleeds out with the piston movement so with the piston movement air is put in and then is evacuated as the piston come back down. an indication of air is a jerking motion of the rams as pressure is built up and the ram moves which lowers the pressure until it gets up again. I would be having the pressure relief valve on the pump checked for correct setting. I would also be having the hydraulic hoses checked as they have been known to fail internally and block of the oil flow.

If your old pump was knackered then I would change your return and suction filters, the insides of the old pump will be choking them. Also check your suction hose (make sure its tight). When the pump was fitted did the engineer readjust the relief valve on the control valve? Is your hyd oil level ok if not top it up it could be drawing air. Your hyd system could also be air locked aswell so it may be a good idea to bleed the system.

1988 camaro 5sp manual, after replacing the master cylinder, bleeding was success, it was only taking 3 months to learn how to bleed it out. Now, when i'm playing burnout, I've lost my pressure on the...

The easiest way to bleed out a clutch hyd system is to connect a hose from the closest front brake caliper bleeder to the bleeder on the slave cylinder. Crack both bleeders open and pump the BRAKE pedal very slowly. It might be best to have someone pump the pedal for you.You will feel the pedal get harder once all the air is pushed out of the clutch system. Close off bleeders and remove hose and test drive car.

This is a back bleed and it's the only way to get all the air out of the clutch system on Peugeots and some other Euro cars.

There should be a bleeder valve on the cylinder itself somewhere. Otherwise with air in the system, Im surprised no hyd fluid came out the top of the cylinder!
