How do you connect the wii to a dsi

Can You Use Nintendo DS With Wii?

The portable Nintendo systems, Nintendo DS, DS Lite, and DSi, are connectible with the Nintendo Wii system, much like the compatibility between Nintendo's Gameboy Advance and Gamecube video game systems.

  1. Purpose
    • Connecting the Nintendo DS, DS Lite, or DSi to the Nintendo Wii allows owners of these systems to use them to their maximum potential, as they take advantage of the Nintendo Wi-Fi connectivity. This allows you to use the systems simultaneously with certain Nintendo DS games.
    Connecting
    • To connect the Nintendo DS, DS Lite or DSi to the Nintendo Wii, the Wii needs to be connected to the Internet wirelessly either through a router or by the Wii LAN adapter. These Nintendo systems share a Wi-Fi connection, and this allows the portable Nintendo systems to connect instantly to the Wii via the wireless signal shared by the Wii and the Internet.
    Function
    • Once you have your portable Nintendo system and Nintendo Wii connected, the DS will act as a controller and allow you to play the DS game through the Wii system while maintaining the touchscreen and microphone capabilities of the portable system. Another function of the connection is that the Wii is able to expand the portable Nintendo system's games.
    Games
    • There are only a handful of portable Nintendo games that allow you to connect to the Wii, including the Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl games, which allow players to use Pokemon accumulated via these DS titles to battle with in the Wii's Pokemon Battle Revolution game.
    Future
    • Nintendo has commented that there are plans of being able to download and play game demos to the portable Nintendo systems through the Wii's Nintendo Channel.
or just visit the link below for more info on your wii

When i try to play black ops multiplayer on wii, it would said please wiat like normal but then i'll be waiting forever and it'll never let me play. i have perfect wi-fi to. my other games work just fine...

From looking around, it looks like some type of bug. They are working on a patch that will hopefully be released soon.

Here are some instructions I found at Support Forum.
  • From the Multiplayer menu
  • Select Profile
  • Create a new profile
  • Select "Nintendo Wi-Fi Connect" and wait to see if you login
  • If you are able to login, select Profile again
  • Change back to your original profile
  • Select "Nintendo Wi-Fi Connect" again, and you should be able to play on your original profile.
  • If you are still not able to login please refer to the rest of the information on this page.

How do you connect wii to a sony surround sound receiver

The best solution would be to see if your TV has and aux out for sound. It might also be called audio out. I would look like a red and white jack next to each other by themselves. Then you would take and audio cable and connect the audio out from your TV to the AUX in on the back of your Sony unit. Then select the AUX input selection on your Sony unit to hear the sound.

If you don't have an audio out on your TV then you can plug the red and white cables that go from your Wii console into the AUX input on your Sony unit. The only down side to this is you will ONLY have surround sound and no sound on your TV. Also you will have to pull your Wii cord apart a little bit to reach wherever you will need to plug them.

Please thank me if this helped.

LG HT752TH Surround sound system rear x2 and centre speakers do not work even tho connected and tested correct.

They will work only if the source signal is itself 5.1. If it's stereo then you must convert it to 5.1 using the Virtual sound setting (press VSM to access it and select 5.1).

Wii wireless connction has error code 51040

rror Code: 51040 Please try the following troubleshooting for the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector
  1. Verify that the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector is installed correctly and that the PC is turned on (the USB Connector will not work while the PC is turned off).
  2. Try our interference troubleshooting steps.

  3. Are you using any security programs (firewall, anti-virus, anti-spyware, anti-adware, etc.)? If so, you may need to add the Nintendo USB Registration Tool software to a list of "allowed" programs or "exceptions." If this is unavailable, you may need to disable yousecurity program before the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector can access our servers. See Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector "Firewall troubleshooting" for more information.
  4. Try uninstalling the Nintendo Wi-FI USB Connector software, and installing the newest version. To get uninstalling instructions and the latest version of the software, please click here.
