AIWA Z-L500 HI FI stereo system tape decks not...

Tape decks not working. All lights come on and no response when pressing them. A clicking sound lasting approx 5 secs is heard coming from the tape decks when machine is switched on in any mode. Radio, turntable and CD player playing normally.
