SOURCE: i need help on how to disable the functional code

Thats a fuser failure code. I suspect your upper roller is bad and has loaded up the temp sensor. The sc545 is dangerous to play around with, a possible fire danger has occured and the machine has locked you out. This requires a tech to inspect and reset. Ricoh does not allow qualified/certified technicians to disseminate this information out to the customers due to the dangers involved.

SOURCE: i still need help on how to solve or fix my Ricoh

You can check the following.
1. hot roller thermistor is out of position or dirty.
2. Fuser lamp is broken.
3. Thermostat is open. (Like a thermal fuse, there SHOULD be continuity)
4. Clean and scrap clean the gold pins that connect into the copier. Sometimes they get corroded or bent slightly out of shape so they don't make contact with the terminals.

Copies to light on my Xerox 5334. Adjusted to darkest setting, changed dry ink cartrige, tried standar and photo settings. what is the next thing to check??

Check the number of images the drum has printed. You can find this on the config sheet. If you use the CentreWare software, you can access the printer from your Internet Explorer web browser by typing the TCP/IP address in the address bar where the URL normally goes. Then access the status tab to check on consumables. If the drum is nearing its threshold 24K to 48K, it may be time to replace. If the number is lower, check the transfer roller for excess paper dust contamination. Cleaning this off with canned air will help usually.

Savin 9945DPE cannot Network print

Did you format the new drive through the service mode on the copier? As long as the drive is compatible then it should work once you format it.

Trying to install my computer to the copier printer

How about downloading the driver, connecting the machine to a tcp/ip port on your router, setting up an appropriate ip address, and subnet mask on the machine, then creating a new tcp/ip port in the 'add printer wizard' and use the machines ip address, and continue with installation.

Lanier ld122 503 service unavailable

This can occur if the Web services has been turned off in either the Web Image Monitor or from a telnet command for this device.
To check the status of these services you will need to telnet into the device.

1. From a command prompt type : telnet then the IP Address of the device

2. Telnet will respond back with a request for a login and then a password. Enter the login and password. The login and password used for Telnet are the same credentials that are used to log into the device’s Web Image Monitor (WIM).
3. Type in show at the msh> command prompt.
This will output many lines of information. The information you are concerned with is under the TCP/IP-Mode heading. You may need to scroll up in the command prompt window to see these services. The device’s services will be shown followed by their status. The ‘show’ command will show if the services are enabled (UP) or Disabled (Down).
4. If Web shows a down status, at the command prompt msh> type in set web up.

5. At the command prompt msh> type in logout

6. To make your changes Active you must type yes when prompted to "save configuration data"

Note: Always check with your system administrator before making any changes on a network device.
