Use as an example logmein (google it) to remotely control your computer from another computer. Both must have internet access. There are other freeware programs for remotely accessing a computer. If it is two computers on a shared network (e.g. two home computers) and your mail is held on an external e-mail service provider (like gmail). then you can setup both computers to access your e-mail. Check your e-mail provider's FAQ on how to set this up for sharing.

When i log in on a different p.c with my account,i get only old e mails, not current ones.please help thanks

If you log in on the Website of the E-mail service (Google or other) you see the current Emails. But if you have a personal user Email account such as Outlook on several computers you must refresh or check your Email on each computer separately. If you access your company's Email server through different company computers you are accessing the same server and the Email messages are up to date.

How do I check my work emails from home

Which email account ??
Access Work Email From Home
Sometimes, the regular workday isn't enough time to get your day's work done.
Taking work home has become a way of life for many people.
If you're one of these people, the ability to access your work email from home is essential to your success.

Ask your workplace's technical support department for help to log on from home.
Some offices set up web access to your email from home, and your tech support department can instruct how to take advantage of this service.
One popular way employers provide this is through Microsoft Web Access.
With Microsoft Web Access, you can log in using any web browser and access your email from any web-enabled computer.
If your office uses Outlook for email, ask if you can set up your home computer to access your email through Outlook.
You will need your login information and your incoming and outgoing mail servers from your tech support department.

If your company provides POP or IMAP access, visit mail2web.
From the homepage, enter your email address and password to log in to your email from any web browser.

Set up a free Gmail email account.
If you use Outlook for email at work, you can automatically forward all email you receive to your Gmail account.
Gmail also provides automatic filtering features that enable you to automatically organize incoming mail.

Ask your IT department if remote computer access is available. Once set up, remote computer access lets you work from home by accessing and controlling your work computer.
Check your work email at home
Sometimes you want to check your work email at home and vice versa using multiple computers. Here is how

Most people find it easiest to use our web based email system to check for messages while not at the office.
Check with your IT guys to find out what's the URL
However, you want to check your email just like at work, using Microsoft Outlook.
This will require some configuration on your part.
Setup for email programs vary, however your email program will ask for the following information: username, incoming server (POP or IMAP), outgoing server (SMTP), return address, name etc

Open Microsoft Outlook, On the Tools menu, click E-mail Accounts
Select Add a new e-mail account, and then click Next.
Select POP3, and then click Next.
In the Your Name box, type your full name the way you want it to appear to other people.
In the E-mail Address box, type your e-mail user name followed by @yourcompany.com.
Under Server Information, do the following:

In the Incoming mail server (POP3) box, type mail.yourcompany.com
In the Outgoing mail server (SMTP) box, type smtp.yourcompany.com.

Under Logon Information, do the following:

In the User Name box, type your user name provided by your company.

In the Password box, type your password.
Select the Remember password check box

To verify that your account is working, click Test Account Settings.
If there is missing or incorrect information, such as your password, you will be prompted to supply or correct it.
Make sure your computer is connected to the Internet.

Hit OK, you're done!

How can access my mails from my work computer

If you're at a friend's house or out of town and need to check your email for your job or business it can really be a hassle.
You have to either go home or to the office.
Maybe you even call someone and have them check it for you.
There's no need to do that any more. Just follow these steps to check your email from any computer.
Log on to a web-based Internet service such as hotmail.com, excite.com, yahoo.com or gmail.com.
Set up an email account.
hese email accounts are free and will allow you to check your email from any computer.
Choose a user name and password for your account.
Make sure to choose ones that are easy to remember.
Use any computer and log on to the Internet service provider and go to the home page of the email service that you selected.
Enter your user name and password then check your email.
Set up a POP account through the web-based email service if you use Microsoft Outlook or have your email set up through your company.
For example, if you're using Yahoo for your web based email service then you would go to "Options" and select "Mail Plus."
You can then sign up for this program for a small monthly fee.
Sign on to your web-based email service and choose "Retrieve POP mail" in your inbox.
This will pull all the mail from your Outlook or business account and drop it in to your inbox.

yes, your email is local to your email provider's server and not your computer. If you are using outlook, you have to configure outlook to check your email providers server and pull the email down for local use.

Mails sent do not reach their destination. It appears in the Outlook sent as sent.

To check the exact reason - we have to follow few steps one by one as follows.

Due to following reasons mails may not reach their destinations,

Other End Problems
1. Email address typed is wrong or does not exist.
2. There is problem with the email address - like inbox capacity is full, incoming mail server is down.
3. Recipient received the email not in inbox rather in bulk/junk box - so tell him/her to check junk/bulk box.
4. Your email address is blocked by them (recipients).

Your End problem
-------------------------
5. You have not clicked the option "Server Authentication" or other configuration problem you made.
6. There is virus problem in your computer creating malfunction for outgoing emails.
7. Your outgoing server problem.

So I am guiding how to check all points one by one tactfully to detect exact reason.

First verify the email address you typed - then you send email to the same email address from your different email.
Try to use same mail server (your end) for checking as some time few black listed mail servers are there.
You request the recipient to check the bulk/junk box - or send email waiting few hours.
Tell the recipient whether your email is blocked or the domain of your email address (as yahoo.com is domain of email lina@yahoo.com).

Now this is the very important point out of the all points - please consult with your mail server admin and check whether you have checked the Server Authentication Required option in mail client software like Outlook Express.
You please configure the same email in different computer (virus free) - try the same.
Wait few ours and send to other email addresses - and check.

I think you may easily rectify the problem.
Happy Computing.
I think I have been able to answer to solve the problem. Many Many thanks for using Fixya.

Trying to send an email with pictures but it freezes every time i try and send

Have you tried sending an email using different computer? Most of the time, internet connection and internet browser are the common cause of system freeze up when sending an email.

Try to access your email in a different computer that is connected to a different network. If you're not able to duplicate the problem on different computer, then the problem has something to do with the computer that you are using.

Contact your ISP to verify if there's any issues with the internet connection. Or clear the cookies, internet files, and browsing history of your browser.

But if the same problem occur while using different computer, you must check the file size of the picture that you are trying to send. Most email provider could support attachments that has 32MB, 50MB, 1GB attachment. But it will depend on your email provider.

Thank you and good luck!
