Question about Goldstar DH504EL Dehumidifier
When I turn my system on it starts fine then within 45 sec it starts running in a really high gear and very noisy. It also freezes the coils after a period of time and will not collect water anymore. Is there anything I can do to fix these problems?
What is the temperature in the space where you are operating thsi dehumidifier? When you first start a refrigerating system some refrigerant may have condensed into the compressor oil. When the compressor starts the pressure in it drops rapidly. The oil boils and some passes through the compressor valves. After a few minutes of operation this condition normally corrects itself.
