Question about Philips Televison & Video
I have a very interesting delimma. I purchased a 2-pack of universal remotes, and I beleive that the big one is a Phillips SRU700 (PICTURED: http://www.radioshack.com/sm-philips-sru7000-universal-remote-control--pi-2941761.html). I am at work currently, and that looks like it (I am unsure of the exact model number). The other one looks identical, except it is a 3-function instead of a 6. I started to program the smaller one first, and successfully programmed the TV, VCR, and DVD player in one room. In the next room is an identical VCR, and the 3 function works on both beautifully. When I ut the same code in the 6-function remote for the VCR, nothing happens. Turns out it's a diferent code entirely. I fumble around trying to program the DVD player with the 6-function, because NONE of the RCA codes work on the 6, and end up stumbling on the codes for the TV and radiop, so I use those on different buttons. After going through the ENTIRE list of DVD codes, I srtill have yet to come across one that works. Is there a link for a different code sheet maybe? They are 4 digit codes if that helps and the DVD player is an RCA DRC247N.
Depends on what you are trying to do and how the game console is connected to your TV. If it's through the AV ports, then you need to use the TV/VCR button to bring the TV out of AV mode. (Some TVs don't come out of AV Mode by pressing channel up or down). If the console is connected through the RF Transmitter, then you'd have to reprogram the remote as it may have reset.
