Question about Canon Office Equipment & Supplies

1 Answer

Date: 9/14/'10 Gentlemen: I have a Canon Faxphone L-90, purchased from Staples office supply. My problem is when I fax a page a...void-space ... approx. 0-1/4" wide, appears ... from the top of the page to the bottom .... The void, which runs perpendicular on the page, ... in the 11' direction of the bond paper, will interrupt any printed copy ... a/o photos, that may be in this "void space area." I have just changed the toner-cartridge, and the void continues to appear in all of the faxed copies that I send out. I used the ...cleaning-feature... available from the menu, and it had no effect on eliminating the void that appears in all of my faxed copies. NOTE: None of my fax-copies ... received.... have this void-problem It appears only on outgoing fax transmissions. Would appreciate any advice you could offer to remedy the probelm with my Canon L-90 FaxPhone unit ... Thank you for your attention to this communication .... Hi! I strongly suggest that you unplug the fax from power source and press the ON button and let it sit for atleast 2mins. to reset the system. Plug the fax again to power source then see how it goes. Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa!

Bought a close out model at staples. really stripped down. no manual. machine doesn't give a printout of a confirmation of receipt after fax is sent. trying to fix various problems w/o the manual is very...

In a case like yhis your best bet would be go to the manufacturer on line or call them, with model and serial numbers and you should be able to get manual. Also if you explain that manual was missing when purchased they may send it to you free.

Canon Faxphone L75 Multiple Paper Fax Problem

There appears to be a problem with the paper separator. This is normally a small piece of plastic topped with a piece of cork and pushed against the paper with a small spring. Either the cork has become smooth from picking up tiny paper fragments and can be remedied by filing a small portion of the cork off (or replacing it). Or the spring may be weakening and may need to be replaced.
