A good place to look would be www.crucial.com that is where I get all of my memory.

Here is the website for information on your systems memory.

Looks like you are looking for PC2100 PC2700 or PC3200 DDR Ram, Best Buy or Circuit City may even have what you are looking for. CompUsa may also be a good choice, as well as www.newegg.com which has very good deals on alot of computer hardware.

Hope this helps to solve your problem, Good Luck!

Hi.. i have a Lenovo laptop model 7757 with Support DDR2 533/667MHz DRAM with dual channel... It has a 1gig memory and i want upgrade it to 3 or 4gigs.. is it ok if i'll put in 2gig memory in the other...

Yes, with this model, Mix and match is ok. Different sizes/speeds of memory can be used together as long as their specification are qualified by the systems. For instance, a laptop can use one 512MB and one 2GB of memory for the total of 2.5GB system memory. Mixing two different speeds of memory modules would result the system to run at the speed of the slower memory between the two modules.

I'm using a Sandisk 1gig Memory Stick, but suddenly it has far less than 1gig to give. I mainly use this stick for my Sony Playstation Portable (PSP) for save files or such. Right now it has one 341.6mb...

because it requires that much space to write files to boot the games

if i were you, i'd save the games on your hard disk and format the 1G memory stock -- buy a larger capacity , such as 4G or 8G

please leave me positive feedback

How to upgrade memory. I need module definition for 1Gig so I can purchase it.

You need a 512MB PC2700 DDR 333MHz SO-DIMM for a laptop (200-pin). The manufacturer I think doesn't specifically support anything over 512MB. But the RAM is standard and I doubt there is any need to buy it directly from Sharp. The laptop only has one upgradable bay so you may not be able to upgrade past 1.25 GB.

One of the memory covers is not removable, if I remember correctly, that is the one under the keyboard. So the one you update is a panel on the bottom.

Yes, of course you can do this with your own. The first things you should do are they:

You need to buy 1gb RAM which same socket to your old 512mb RAM. Be sure that the said RAM are compatible to your motherboard.

I intend to install more 1 mega of memory, but motherboard not recognized it (one dimm 1gb pc3200 cl3 184-pin dimm). Of origin the PC it has been installing 2 dimms of 512 and I intend to add +1 dimm of...

The memory may not be compatible depending on the speed. Try taking out all the memory and just installing the 1Gig stick.. does it work?

If it does then the 1Gig stick is fine, but your PC probably doesn't like you mixing different types and speeds of memory.

If it doesn't work, the 1gig memory module might not be the correct speed your PC wants.

Adding memory

chek your laptop first if it can accept the 1gig memory. if so then ask the supplier of your 2 pcs 512 memory to replace with 1 pc. 1gig memory. and also ask assistance to replace it.

More ram for my laptop

Never, NEVER buy a computer that is going to run Vista with less than 1Gig minimum!
2 Gigs of RAM is recommended for Vista.
To check on prices and the type check some online sites that sell memory

Most laptops have a removable door or hatch on the bottom where you can access the memory very easily. The modules easily clip in or out but never use force! (RTFM)
If you take it to someone, they'd probably charge $50 for labour, plus parts and the job takes 5 minutes.

Easily do it yourself, or find a teenager who's good with computers. Son, nephew, neighbour perhaps?

Before buying any new modules, check your laptop to see how many slots you have and what type of modules are in there now.
To upgrade to 2 Gig,  you will have to buy 2 new 1Gig modules, There's a 2Gig kit (1Gigx2) listed at one site for $80.

You would remove you current memory and install the 2 new 1Gig modules. Sell your 512 or make a keychain from it.
