Have you tried replacing the charger? The chargers wear out and your motorola may have just run the battery down. The charger may just touch it enough to make it look like it is charging but not enough power to recharge the battery.

Motorola A1200 cell phone battery will not charge with AC chargers

HI,

If your phone is still under warranty the best solution is to get it replaced. The problem is actually with the port of the charger.I mean the hole in which you plug in your charger isn't working properly.Where as your USB port is different and works properly so it charges the battery. So you will have to get this repaired.

IT IS NOT GETTING CHARGE

try using other charger that fits your phone...maybe the charger is defective...if it's still not working...try other battery that also fits your phone...either the battery is defective....if it's still not working....go to the service centre of MOTOROLA...maybe the port of the charger on your phone is the problem....maybe it needs to be replace... :)

When I attempt to charge my moto q via an power outlet or car charger the charge powers the phone but not the battery. when I attempt to charge it by computer it there is normally a 30% chance it will...

I have the same problem with my iPhone. The only real way and best way to get a charge on a phone is through a wall charger. Car chargers and computer/usb to charge doesn't actually do anything but "top off" the battery. They don't produce enough power to give the batter a strong charge like the wall can.
That's my best advice. Charge from the wall when at home. Use the car to top off when your on the go.

Invalid battery..

There is too much going on here. For starters, you should only be using Motorola accessories IE batteries, chargers, screen protectors. Now that you have done this, you have actually confused the phone, it is a "smart phone" and because of this, it is able to identify the different battery/charger. You have to send this to Motorola of for a quick fix or buy a new phone.

I have a T-Mobile dash and cannot get it to charge.

Do you have other phones or chargers? Most Motorola cell phone chargers will fit the dash as will some digital camera chargers.

Just try to remove any dust on phone battery metallic surfaces etc ,the phone will work normally. you need also to use usb. this generally happens when there is 0 power left in phone for long time
