My Maytag gas dryer model LDG9801AAL has irregular heating. The flame is not 100% bluish even after I cleaned the igniter glowbar. I already changed the dryer sensor but the flame keeps getting shut off...

if the flame is liting the ignotor is good,if the flame goea out after a minute or so then you have to clean out the dryer, unplug it,clean out the duct that the lint filter slides into, clean out the cabinet where the motor is and if the vent line is a long run i use a leaf blower to blow it out, pull it off the back of the dryer, stick the leaf blower into the vent and blow all the lint outside.one more thing if the flame lites and after 10 to 30 minutes thee flame doesn't lite anymore you have bad gas coils you can remove the cover down on the bottom right side of the front panel to check this, also you should clean this dryer at least once a year so you don't have a fire and your clothes will dry on time, pull the vent line off the back and see if it runs any better but you still have to clean the lint filter duct too,the block could be in there, bad air movement will cause this to happen.let me know how you make out.

The dryer works fine in TimeDry mode, but in Intellidry mode it dries very slowly. The "Moisture Moniture" indicator lights start and stay at "Less Dry". I have replaced the moisture...

you could have bad gas coils.if the timer doesn't advance in auto dry most likely you're having heat problems, when the dryer heats and then the heat shuts off then the timer will advance, when the heat comes back on the timer stops,it does this until the clothes are dry.gas coils when starting to fail will work normally until they get hot and then no heat until the coils cool down then they will work again,on time dry the timer just keeps counting down until the time runs out no matter what's happening to the dryer.i've seen the coils fail after the first 10 minutes and other times for 20 to 30 minutes but usually if the load is big and in time dry the clothes will feel warm and you'll need to dry them a second time to get them fully dry, also while you're in ther you should clean out the dryer at least once a year, clean out the duct that the lint filter slides into, vacuum out the cabinet where the motor is and blow out the vent line,if it's a long run i use a leaf blower to blow out the line, remove it from the back of the dryer, stick the leaf blower into the vent line and blow it out,i've blown out birds nest out of some lines, your clothes will dry on time, you won't go through so many parts and you won't have to worry about a dryer fire, the gas coils are on top of the gas valve, remove the two phillips screws, lift off the cover and change out the coils.next time you use the dryer keep an eye on it,after it runs for 20 minutws start checking it,you'll hear a click, then another click and the flame will lite, look into the gas tube and if the flame isn't liting then you have bad gas coils.

Drum rotates no heat, igniter dosent start

While the drum is rotating you should hear the CLICK associated with the gas valve assembly powering up to give out a blast of heat. If ya don't hear no click check the duct fuse. Right next to the control thermostat. If it is blown it kills the circuit to the gas valve assembly. If that fuse is good and the control is also good, then check the flame sensor for continuity, If it is open then the ignitor won't glow. The ignitor must glow and change in resistance then the flame sensor must open up and kill power to the ignitor so that power will be shifted to them coils on the gas valve.

Goodman gms80903bna light blinks once fan runs all the time,

I believe this code is ignition failure.
Turn power off and after 20 seconds turn power on with thermostat calling for heat. Vent blower should come on first. After a bit igniter should lite up. You should hear click noise of gas valve open up. If igniter does lite and you hear click noise, flame should come on for a few seconds minimum. If igniter doesn't lite and you hear click noise from gas valve, igniter is bad. If flame lites and then goes out, flame sensor probably needs cleaned. Both igniter and flame sensor are in metal plate under burners. Igniter has 2 wire going to it and flame sensor has one wire. If you think it is flame sensor you can remove with taking it out with 1 1/4" hex screw. Flame sensor will have white film on it if it needs cleaned, clean with steel wool or a dollar bill. If it isn't weither of these it is gas valve or circuit board.

I think my pilot light went out, but I need to know how to locate it

Dryers do NOT use a standing pilot lite ..When the unit is turned on and heat is commanded on the gas valve opens and an igniter lite's the gas , then their is a flame sensor to see the flame from the burning gas if no flame is present it shuts the gas back off.. So if you have a no heat concern with your dryer it will be either the igniter, gas coil's or the flame sensor
