The CLS1110 radio has a fixed list of frequencies available. Here is a link to the user guide, where you will find a list of frequencies and instructions (pg 26) on how to program the radio: http://www.giantintl.com/RadioPDFs/Outdated%20Manuals/XTN_Series_User_Manual_E.pdf

Best regards.

Cp150 frequency change

This is a programmable radio. Using Motorola proprietary software, programming cable and radio interface box (RIB) the radio can be reprogrammed to another frequency/PL Code. This can be done by your Motorola dealer.

I have a cobra 29 brought in us want to change to newzealand frequency

Normally this would not be possible, but to do what you are proposing you would be hard pressed to find anyone that could do this. The us radios have built in diodes to trap out frequencies to keep them in the 27mhz bandwidth, so you need to find someone who knows radios inside and out with the proper circuit diagrams to work with.

I have a Motorola Axu4100 , I want to change the frequence that I currently have on this radio to a Motorola CP-200...just wondeing if these two radio can work together....

Hi
Motorola CP-200 have frequency range
VHF: 136–162, 146–174MHz;
UHF: 403–440, 438–470, 465–495MHz depending on the model
Motorola AXU4100 have frequency range 435 - 480 Mhz
The first model has a wider frequency range so it is best to include transmitter Motorola Axu4100 to transfer and try to receive signal to Motorola CP-200

I just got a Jabra Cruiser and need to change the radio frequency to 88.1. Does anyone know how to do that? Thank you!

All that means is to put your radio on FM 88.1, and just wait. Jabra will find the exact frequency (mine is 88.7) and then it will work. When you want to use it to listen to music, just put the radio on 88.1 .

Can i change the frequencies on my two way radios?

No, unfortunately there is nothing you can do to change the 462-467 MHz radio to do the PMR 420-450 MHz which is legal in the UK.

Here is some info concerning PMR446: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PMR446

How to set up fm transmitter for sanyo gps nvn-4370

At the main menu press settings
press FM Transmitter
Turn transmitter on by pressing off. Will change to On
Press the Frequency button. Than change the frequency to one that doesnt have a radio station.
All sounds from the GPS will now be transmitted to the frequency set. Make sure your FM radio is set to the same frequency.

With my one vehicle this option does not work very well & is full of static because my radio entenna is at the rear of the car. The GPS only transmits a couple of feet.

Change Radio Frequency

Most radios made in American have fixed tuners and do not have a way to change frequency of the radio. If they use the same FM frequencies (88.1-108.0) then all you have to do is do a scan or seek of what is available when you get there or a new radio will be needed. There may be a way to add a EU tuner and have the original radio receive the output of it through a channel in the radio. It's the cheapest way to not have to buy a new NAV/RADIO device. It would work kind of like the hands free devices that are not hardwired do here.

Changing the frequency

First thing I ask individuals is "have you read the manual?" this will walk you step by step through the procedures for changing frequencies. If you have done this and they still don't communicate with each other, it may be that you have a VHF version of radio and they might have a UHF version of radio or visa versa. The other possibility is that they might have purchased higher teer radios that are programmed for them by a local radio shop. The information you have provided leaves a lot of possibilities to the answear. I would need to know what model radio the campground has.

Radio set up on samsung j700

FM radio works the same way that AM radio works. The difference is in how the carrier wave is modulated, or altered. With AM radio, the amplitude, or overall strength, of the signal is varied to incorporate the sound information. With FM, the frequency (the number of times each second that the current changes direction) of the carrier signal is varied. FM signals have a great advantage over AM signals. Both signals are susceptible to slight changes in amplitude. With an AM broadcast, these changes result in static. With an FM broadcast, slight changes in amplitude don't matter -- since the audio signal is conveyed through changes in frequency, the FM receiver can just ignore changes in amplitude. The result: no static at all.
For sellecting frenquencies, go to radio, options, set frequency and search...
Good luck!
