One way is bypassing. which can be done at chip level servicing only.

else there is a option like we can use any tool like ERD.. but we cant assure that u will get solved by that method.

only sure shot method is chip level servicing.

so u should take it to company(if with in warranty) else take it to some local service centers.

I have laptop compaq presario v3000 i have set bios password and now i forgot my password so is there any way to break the password, i had disassembled and assembled full laptop than also it doesn`t...

!BIOS is a freeware utility which is designed to be a whole BIOS and security suite. It has the ability to decrypt the passwords used in some of the most common BIOS makes such as Award, Phoenix, American Megatrends, IMB etc..
It also has the ability to brute force the password (known as "blasters"). However, this method is dangerous and can result in some unexpected and unwanted results. Note: Because of this applications password cracking abilities, some antivirus software may report it as a virus/trojan. This is a false positive.
To start using !BIOS, reboot your computer and take note of the BIOS type and version you are running. For example, If your motherboard uses Award BIOS you should look for the text "Award Medallion BIOS 6.0′ or something similar.
Download !BIOS from here and save it to your desktop. Then, open a DOS command windows by going to Start > Run and type: cmd
Once you see a black screen in front of you, type: cd desktop
You should now see something like: C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Desktop>
Now type the name of the file you just downloaded, if you haven't changed the name just type in: bios320.exe
bios320.thumbnail.jpg
Use the down arrow and choose "Crackers" and then press the right arrow. Using the up and down arrows, select the BIOS that the motherboard is using and press Enter.
You should now see a menu asking what you want to crack, in most cases its the Supervisor or System Passwords you want to crack, so press the 1 key on your keyboard. It will then show you another menu asking how you want it to be cracked. Option 1 is pretty good so try that first by pressing the 1 key on your keyboard. You should now have your BIOS password.
Reboot the computer, enter the BIOS and try it out.

My laptop keyboard not work at booting time

Hello,
I would first try to reset the CMOS according to the manufacturer's instructions provided on the manual.
Try that, and please report back the results.

You might wonder what is CMOS?
Complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS)
is a type of semi-conductor chip that holds data without requiring an external power source. In a personal computer (PC), CMOS holds the basic instructions the computer needs to initialize its hardware components and boot up. These settings are known as the basic input output settings (BIOS), also referred to as CMOS settings.

Steps to Reset CMOS - BIOS Setting.
Turn on your computer and press the key on your keyboard to enter the BIOS. This is typically the Del (delete) key. Pre-built systems from major manufacturers may use a function key such as F1, F2, or F10. Go to the last tab or page of your BIOS. Select an option similar to "restore factory settings". Save your changes and confirm your selection if necessary. This will often be combined with the process of exiting a BIOS. Some BIOS types may have this as a separate option such as "F10: Save Changes".
Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
Thanks.

I am failing to remove the Bios password in Dell Latitude D630

This should be pretty easy to do.
1. Reboot your laptop and select F2 to go into the BIOS settings. You'll need to be quick or it will boot to Windows.
2. Use the --> arrow key to move to the Security page.
3. Arrow down to the Set HDD password and press Enter
4. Enter your current password
5. Select the Enter key twice to enter no password
6. Select the F10 key to save and exit.

When i insert win xp cd in the driver then nothing happens and it then i press F10 which takes me to BIOS....but after that i just cant do anything..pls help me in step wise manner how should i install...

Make first boot device as your CD ROM by entering in to the BIOS -- > Boot Device Priority. To enter into BIOS either try F2, DEL, F10. then after insert the CD in to the drive and then you can notice this on a black screen " Press any key to boot from the CD" then press Enter or any key and then follow the instructions as suggested on the Setup of Windows XP . Now you can format your laptop.

(A) Try interrupting the boot sequence and telling the computer to boot using the last known good configuration. Here's how: 1) Turn the computer on, and press F8 repeatedly until the boot options menu appears (the menu items include "Start Windows Normally," "Use Last Known Good Configuration," etc.). Use the arrow keys to select "Last Known Good Configuration" and press ENTER. The computer should boot correctly.

if it dont this is the procedure given below to format the whole operating sys 1) Put the CD in the CD drive and turn the computer on. 2) As the computer begins to turn on, you should see the message "Press __ to enter setup" (it's usually F1, F2, or F4 - models vary). Press that key.
3) You should then see the Setup screen for the BIOS ("Built-In Operating System") - using the arrows, find the "boot disk priority" settings and select your CD Drive as the first priority.
4) Exit setup, saving changes (usually by pressing F10). The computer should then boot normally using the CD.

Compaq presario v3000

Hello,

If you know how to open a laptop and access the board you only need to disconnect the battery power connector from the board and leave it off for a minute or so.

Laptop batteries that keep the bios powered and retain the time/date and of course passowrds look different than a tower pc. They are usually a long round cigar shapped unit about 2-3 inches long with a power wire set and a connector that goes to your board. Naturally, the look and shape does vary a lot and so don't expect yours to look exactly as I described.

When you reconnect it and put the keyboard, etc.back on power up and enter Setup. You will need to reset the time and date and configuration options that suit your needs.

Hope this fixed ya!
