which Password are you talking about? The locked tablet Password or the password to your account? If you are talking about the locked password for your tablet you have to go into settings and then to privacy and then change password.

remove the litium battery (found on mainboard) reboot system. shut down after reboot. replace the battery and reboot again, this should clear the need for password

Is this the login password, the system password, or the hard disk drive password? If it is just the login password then try logging in to safe mode. When you reboot your computer hit the f8 key until it goes into the different logins menu.
