Try admin and password for the user name and password. Those are the defaults for your modem

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Need to find SSID

Look on the side or bottom of the modem/router. Generally there is a white label with SSID and password. The SSID is generally set to 'broadcast,' so doing a network scan on your tablet should come up with the SSID on a list, but if that is not the case, or if you pick up multiple SSIDs (as in an apartment building or condo), then check the label. You will have to check the label for the password, anyway. Have fun!

I have a powerbook G4 and just hooked up a wifi motem but it asks for a password I don't know

If the wifi modem is a new type, just push a button at the modem and then try to connect form MAC. Password is automatically transferred.

If you have an older wifi modem, you will need to know the password by login into the wifi modem.

Forgot password on modem

there are more than one password.

There is the one for you DSL connection itself and this stays the same and is not changed without speaking to your ISP.

then there is the wireless.
Depending on they types of setup there may also be more than one for this too. EG a PW for wirless A+B and another for G+N if your modem supports that
Additionally there may also be one for GUEST access

All the latter ones can be set normally by the end user. However some ISP's are a PITA and can often tightly control those aspects even.

First off can you get into your modem maintenance pages ?

Go through the list there until you dind one that works
Quite often another model will be the same as with most routers etc.

Once you are into the modem then you can set the passwords as you need but PLEASE write EVERYTHING down !!

Also take not of what you need by way of security for your tablet
EG does it only work with WEP ? as that is the MINIMUM you need and WPA is better if it supports it.

Also TKIP AES etc etc

Best bet is to set up for the poorest device on your wireless and then re-do all other devices to suit.

Never heard of the kogan brand tablet but a quick look around has it to be a low end unit so it may not have full implementations of all wireless protocols.
What is the android OS version too as that may play into things.

I have purchased a T-Box from Telstra and have to connect it to my computer to set it up. It is asking for a password or security key? I have tried every number on the bottom of the wireless router but...

Telstra has a YouTube video on setting up the T-Box. Click on this link to view the video :-

The video also shows how connect the T-Box to the wireless router/modem.
To connect the T-Box to youre Belkin wireless router/modem the SSID and password you need to enter is on the card supplied with the modem.

If you still need assistance, then list each steps you take and any error messages and get back to me.

Have a new lap top and to know my 2wire password running vista

Look on the bottom of you modem it should have the default password listed there, if that doesn't work then you should be able to reset it and use the default info on the bottom to log in to the modem and reset the password to whatever you desire. Once you do that I always recommend writing the password down and taping it to the bottom of the mdem / router

I m looking for multi media audio controller drivers ,pci modem drivrs and mass storage controller driver for xp2

Go to the HP website, choose Support & Drivers, enter your model number, then choose the exact model you have and you'll get a list of available drivers.
You need sound driver, chipset driver (it contains the mass storage driver) and modem driver. If unsure which modem option you have, you may find additional info on labels on the bottom of your machine.
