I can't download the pictures from the camera to... (by 3 users)
How come I can't download the pictures from the camera to the computer.
Please help.

bought a Vivitar VivCam 10 on ebay. I recieved Just the camera. I had to buy the USB adaptor so the camera would conect to the computer. I didn't recieve any software. I went to Vivitor and got the drivers & manual-no CD. I installed the software and Device maneger recognizes the camera in both functions,still & video, and says they are fully functional but in Control Panel-Cameras and Scanners-it only sees a still camera and says it is not functional.It doesn't show in My Computer either. If I go to the program to withdraw the photos from the camera-Windows Gallery- It doesn't see any camera at all. I have deleted the camera and the drivers then reloaded agian twice with no change.

First thanks for being there to help. I don't have the cd disc of software to be able to download the picts from cam to pc. I tried to find it for free or to purchase without results. Can you possibly steer me in the right direction for this software. thanks and God bless, geo
