I have an electric motor 5sme39hl0490 from an a/c air handler I would like to install a switch to turn it on and off not using for a/c wiring diagram or tech support please

That is an ecm motor. Much more difficult than a psc to use as a shop fan. High and low voltage required. Do you have the 16 pin connector?

I need to check a fan control switch

Did you check for voltage and ground at the blower motor connector? You may be way ahead of me? Different speeds are controlled on blower motor ground circuit. In the diagram, the top wire at blower motor is voltage and the bottom wire is ground. The diagram may not be what you wanted? Brown is voltage, orange is ground at blower motor. Maybe you can hit control and plus on your key pad to enlarge diagram.

I have a Carries AC unit (model FK4CNF002). Heat pump in the outside works but blower doesn't (tried both heat and cool). Power load (240V) on the blower is there and I also measured the voltage on control...

If you have determined that the line voltage is getting to the blower motor then the unit is defective and needs to be replaced. Check for the presence of the voltage at the wires going directly into the motor to make sure. It is not the compactor relay because it supplies power to both the compressor and condenser fan. If your air handler is inside the house, the housing also has circuit breakers for the fan motor - check that also.

I have a good heatpump with goodman air handler. the air handler has a sequencer and a blower relay. the blower relay quit working and i replaced it with a supco 90340 relay. the problem now is in the...

Your green wire from the tstat and the low voltage common should land on the relay coil. Your high voltage for the blower lands on normally open. Sounds like you are using your red (constant 24v) to energize your relay. Therefore your relay is constantly energized and your blower runs constantly. Let me know!!

There should be a wiring diagram on the motor itself. The colors of the wires vary depending on voltage and model. Generally you have a med/low and med/high setting, I'm not sure what you are getting to with the low/high setting unless you are trying to set up staging. Check the motor for a diagram, if that is not present post back with all of the wire colors coming from the motor and the voltage.

My AC unit in the house is not blowing any air, the unit outside is working fine. what could be the issue?

If you have no airflow in your home at all then the blower is not running. You may have a bad blower motor or a bad motor capacitor or even a wiring problem in your furnace/air handler.Any of these things require working with high voltage and using specialized tools and any tests should be performed by a qualified professional.

How to adjust blowed speed on a rheem air handler

There are probably six wires coming out of your air handler blower motor. There are 2 brown wires which are capacitor wires, one white wire which is neutral, and probably red, black, and blue. Look behind the door of the air handler to see the wiring diagram. They should have the color coded speeds marked on the diagram. There is probably some sort of control board that the blower speed taps plug into. By changing these wires around on these taps you can adjust the speed of the blower motor.

Air handler does not respond to thermostat

If you have high voltage power to the air handler you need to make sure there is a low voltage call to the air handler from the thermostat. sounds like the low voltage wiring is miswired.

Air conditioner blower

From your discription... I would think you have a problem in the thermostat. Does the fan run in cool if you put the fan in the ON position. Some older t-stats have a jumper between terminals that brings the fan on in cool. You will need to find out if there is low voltage power between the green t-stat wire and common in the air handler. If you have a Gas furnace the fan comes on by a temp control also there is a door switch. If the door is off the door switch will be open. and no fan.
