Generic problem for all Kitchen Ranges

the control panel is digital. When you push the button to turn on the oven, the oven no longer works. Its like that portion of the control panel is out. Digital clock still works as well as timer.

The control panel displays the error code EO F-2. Nothing in the oven works. Does the entire control panel have to be replaced, or can a part on the panel, such as a diode, be changed? ty
PS: It is a Whirlpool Model # RF 385 PXEQ 0 free standing range/oven.
