Question about Old Town Charles River Canoe -
Whats it made of?if its fibreglass, you can sand it down[around the cracks]and relay the fibreglass cloth with the special glue, and build it up.follow the repair kits instructions..reasonably cheap to fix

If fiber glass then take a small drill bit and place a hole at each end of the cracks then fill will fiber glass resin. This is the quickest and most efficient way to rid of cracks. if you decide to lay resin in the cracks prior to drilling at each end then the cracks will come back. sand when finished. fiberglass is very easy to work with. if you "mess up" then just sand it down and reapply.

Do they leak? If not, then leave them alone.
Let me repeat -- Do they leak? If not, then leave them alone.
They might not look great, but if you start to fix them then you have to sand off a lot of material and repair with cloth and resin and re-finish and it is a big job.
