Hi,

If your computer does not have the "Run" option in the Start Menu, you can open the Run box by pressing the Windows and R keys together on your keyboard. (See attached image)

i'm using win xp home - eb8f78b.png

This will open the Run box.

Hope this solves your problem. For more help and clarifications, please feel free to reply to this post.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Most likely Yes. Her are some tips: http://www.techrepublic.com/blog/10things/10-ways-to-speed-up-windows-7/3332 Use freeware CCLEANER: http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/ This freeware program has many useful tools. The cleaner will remove junk and free up disk space. In the TOOLS section, STARTUP section, disable ALL unnecessary startup programs. Remember, almost every program you install wants to startup at boot, which, in most cases isn't necessary. You can configure what you need at start, use CCLEANER, TOOLS, STARTUP.

My windows loading takes so much time

Slow Windows Machine! Sounds like not enough resources such as RAM and CPU. Check Performance in Task-Manager (CTRL-ALT-DELETE). High CPU levels causes hang ups like freezing. Try disabling startup programs. Go to Start > Run (search in Win 7) and type MSConfig. In Startup tab, uncheck anything that you don't want Windows to load automatically. It will make Windows boot faster and use less resources while running. This just disables them in startup. Programs will still load, but when only you initiate. Consider increasing RAM. Uninstall any extras like those pushy toolbars, and add-ons.

Make sure to run a thorough virus scan.

HP COMPAQ 6510b RUNS SOOO SLOW

My recommendation: Install XP.
Well, not that there actually something wrong, but it initially came with XP or Vista. It depends. HP puts it a XP. Check your MS Product key sticker.

It is a simply determination that the laptop just does not have a enough resources to run Win 7 effectively. How do I know, I am using an HP 2.3GHz with XP. I tried Win 7 awhile back and immediately removed it. If fact, I do clean install of XP at least once a year. I do test more software than most.

Here is my Slow Windows Machine! default fix.

Oh yea, in your case disable AREO, and u
se a virus protection with a smaller footprint. Like MS Security Essentials. My PC just couldn't handle McAfee or the likes.

We cannot uninstall vocaloid 2. The operating system is windows xp

It may be running from startup.
You may be able to uninstall in safe mode (F8)
Or use msconfig to stop the program from loading when windows starts (run box / msconfig / startup folder, check for the software and stop)
You can also use CCleaner to uninstall / edit the startup folder

Error loading C:\program~1\Mywebs~1\bar\1.bin\m3plugin.dll

The error is related to the myWebs search bar. Click on start >> Run >> Type Msconfig and open the sytsem configuration utility. Go to the startup tab and look for an entry related to Mywebs and uncheck it. Click apply and Ok and restart the system

Rate if useful.

Xp windows explorer delay w/ "open with"

Sounds like you have too many background applications running that intercept right-clicks for their own functionality.
Click Start>Run and type in "msconfig". This runs the configuration utility that shows your startup programs and services. Select the "Diagnostic Startp" option , then click "Apply" and follow the restart instructions. When your system reboots select cancel when asked to restore the settings. Now all those burdensome background running applications that sap your system resources will be eliminated (temporarily) and Windows can run without being dragged down.
Try your issue again. If this time its quick and without the long lags you reported, you'll know that at least one of those startup applications is the culprit. Running msconfig again will allow you to restore the Normal Startup, and the Startup tab will allow you to remove selectively that application that is causing the issue.
One way to identify which one is the culprit is to restart normally (select the Normal Start option in msconfig and reboot) and once back up, do a ctrl-alt-del to bring up the Task Manager. Click the "Processes" tab and then click the heading "Mem Usage". This will sort running processes by how much memory resources they consume.
The memory hogs may not be the one giving you the problem, but it's likely that a heavy consumer is sapping the CPU cycles needed to handle your right-click pop-up menu and run-with selection. Make a note of the top heavy memory users (print a screenshot) and use this list to eliminate any that are also on the startup list back in msconfig.
Don't use the "End Process" button in the Task Manager to simply stop them, as you'll likely stop one that is critical to Windows functionality. Msconfig's Startup list just shows the ones that get started at Windows boot up and can be eliminated without crippling Windows - much safer.
Use your memory hog list to start eliminating, one at a time, the offending applications from the startup list until the issues is resolved. Its a little tedious, but helps clean up your system in the process.
Hope this helps.
