Counter depth refrigerator

My counter depth refrigerator hits the corner of the countertop when the door swings all the way open, marking up the stainless steel door. Do you have any suggestions for preventing this? Maybe a creative way to stop the door from opening all the way? I thought about putting something on the edge of the countertop, but even rubber could cause denting.

just to make sure , it is when the door is open to 180 degrees?

the door should have a door stop on it under the hinge.

is screws to the door then hits the hinge when it gets to about 160-170 degrees stopping from opening more

somtimes if a door is replaced this part is left off or yours maybe damaged

give me a model number i can tell you more

Do you have room to pull the fridge out from the wall, maybe just a couple inches? Pulling it out from the wall should give you more door swing without hitting the counter.
