I have an old Polaroid Land Camera model 95A. I need help with the "anatomy" of this camera. Where is the shutter button, and what is the red switch on the back for?

It's been a long while since I played with a 95A, so rather than making guesses you may wish to click here for a free user manual. The red switch was to release the film to allow the photo to be pulled out after being taken.

I hope that my reply has been of assistance to you and that you're able to briefly spare the time to rate my answer.

When I take pictures a red hand icon keeps appearing on my polaroid ix828 camera

This is probably covered in the manual, but one possible cause is that the camera thinks that the shutter speed is to low to take shake-free pictures. Try increasing the ISO to give a faster shutter speed.

Is it still possible to get film for thexample Polaroid 95a cam eras. And do the batteries come with the fI'll as they do in their current instant cameras

They haven't made the roll film for these cool old cameras in a long time but there are conversion instructions online that let you adapt it to use available pack film. Check it out here:

Have just taken my first few frames on a polaroid 1000 & they are completely black.Has the shutter failed & how can i fix this?

This is an old land camera. Sure you removed the lens cap?
I'm not sure, but i thought on they did write something about a polaroid camera. Be careful, parts of this camera will work electrical, so the battery (is that with the film?) should have enough power to let the camera work correct.

Polaroid Time-Zero Pronto AutoFocus is not ejecting film when shutter button pressed

This camera appears to be some 40 years old now, so spares and service are unlikely to be obtainable. Why not replace it with a more up-to-date digital model ?

When i turn on my fuji polaroid cam, there is an "E" error message. I can't take any polaroid pictures with it altho the polaroid cam is loaded with film. Please help. Thanks

First, remove the remaining films from the camera. (while your camera is switched off) Second, press on both the shutter button and the power button at the same time. (to reset) Third, reload a new set of polaroid films into the camera.
Hope it helps!

I have alot of questions on how to use my dad's old camera stuff. the names of them are pentax LX that uses film, simul-shot 2, and super shooter polaroid land camera.can you go step by step how to use...

there are books written about photography but i will tell you a little,
shutter speed the faster the shutter speed the less light goes through this basically helps to take fast moving objects, now in darker situations you may decrease the shutter speed but you'll have to hold the camera steady and longer or tripod it,
the rest you can find on

Sx-70 is Not Ejecting FIlm When Taking Picture

Possible you got a bad film cassette. In the original Polaroid camera packs they had batteries which actually powered the whole camera. The batteries may be dead or not have much charge in them. They are good for a couple years and as you indicate the expiration is up in another month... Good luck
