How to replace Intertherm M1 Combustion Blower Assembly on an Intertherm M1MB 070A BW Gas Furnace Series #m1D020401209? I think this is the problem. The furnace squeals when turned on and it seems to be coming from this black motor housing. I'm not knowledgable about furnace repair, and I don't want to make things worse. I'm not even sure if this can even be done with out the proper tech. involved. The part looks like it was installed with two machine screws and the electrical is simply a plug, so no wiring needed. Anyone have any suggestions?

The combustion blower is easy to replace. You may be able to prolong the life of the motor by applying lubrication to the shaft bearings. If the motor is too far gone then replacing it is the only option. Just remove the screws that mount the blower case to the heater, disconnect the wires and reverse the steps to install a new motor.

SOURCE: I have a Honeywell furnace model #M1MB 070A BW.

Hello, first turn off power to the Furnace, then remove igniter from bracket and unplug molex connector. Then take the igniter to a Hvac supply store and get new one, reinstall it into bracket plug into molex connector and turn furnace back on.

Furnace kicks out every so often, ran for two days this time, then kicked out on a pressure switch open, i have replaced the combustion motor ,pressure hose ,and pressure switch, runs for a while then...

You are going to need a service man. A magnehelic gauge is needed to properly diagnose a pressure switch issue. Could be a blocked or restricted flue, a defective induced draft motor, cracked heat exchanger, restricted secondary heat exchanger, ect. ect.

Intertherm M3rl080A BW furnace that shuts down will no indication of fault

If your diagnostic indicator is not picking showing a fault code than it thinks everything is ok with the furnace. It could be a bad thermostat. (or the heat anticipator in the thermostat).

Intertherm furnace burner comes on, but blower does not. If I turn thermostat off then back on until it clicks the fan will then come on. It does not do this all of the time, just now and then.

Furnace burner and heat element are not the same. I think the fan time delay, a sensor that turns the fan on when this sensor senses heat, is shot and needs replacing, for a furnace type heat ( gas heat)

Just replaced pressure switch on intertherm m1mb gas furnace but still codes "pressure switch open"

CHECK FLUE FOR OBSTUCTIONS AS WELL AS COMBUSTION AIR INTAKE FIRST. THEN CHECK TO SEE IF THE FURNACE DRAIN IS OPEN AND NOT CLOGGED [ONLY IF YOUR FURNACE IS A CONDENSATING HIGH EFFICIENCY MODEL, typically the flue pipe will be 2 or 3 inch pvc pipe] over the years more often than not, it is an obstruction or poor drainage which will not prove the pressure switch to allow the burner to ignite. in rare cases the furnace control board could be bad as well.TRY DISCONNECTING FLUE AND COMB. AIR AT FURNACE JUST TO SEE IF FURNACE WILL IGNITE. HOPE THIS HELPS!!!!!!

No problems, would like to find out the best way to remove blower for cleaning on an intertherm gas furnace mgh 075 ina mobile home

Generally ther is two screws at the base of the blower housing which hold it in place, remove the screws and pull, slide the entire assembly out. You will have to disconnect the electrical wiring to the blower and possibly the limit switch on the side if equip.
