Exactly the same problem. Just out of warranty. Intermittent at first, but now just sticks on 'loading' forever.
Contacted Samsung, but need £40 just to look at it.

Exactly the same problem myself. Try pressing open and then holding tight to a cotton bud, sweep inside the machine. The problem seems to be dust collecting. If it works then get a proper cleaning disc. My problem got so bad that the machine would spit out most discs as unable to read.

CDN88 Dual CD Player Display Problem Right Display keeps showing all characters...... It plays fine and the buttons all work. Just the display is showing all characters available....

This could very possibly be a bad internal circuitry problem. A firmware problem due to faulty chip or capacitor or resistor. Testing will need to be performed to find the exact fault. An ohmmeter, vom meter, and cap tester will be needed. Most units are 25-30 ohms and 5 volts of power in each component. A purchased service manual would be very handy.
Have you tried all display settings to rule out settings as the problem factor?

Try this. Go to your tools menu, look for something like power saver or display off and change the duration that the screen stays on.

Pull cover off box and remove battery (small toward the front of the machine) This will reset the Bios.. after that when restarting go into the bios by pressing the "Delete" Key and hit load failsafe bios. this should fix everything.

Sansa e200 load main image failed

If this happened after updating your firmware, the Sansa FAQ from here http://www.sansa.com/support/sansa_e200/faqs says try this -

03. "Load image failed" appears after updating e200 firmware Applies to the following Operating Systems:
  1. Windows XP, Vista
This error may be caused by the firmware failing to load or the file system is corrupted.
STEP 1 – Reset the player
  1. Press and hold the Power button for approximately 30 seconds.
  2. Turn the player back on.
If the error persists, proceed to steps 2 and 3.
STEP 2 – Connect the player in Recovery Mode
  1. Turn off the player.
  2. Slide the Hold/Lock switch on top of the player so an orange color is showing.
  3. Press and hold the REC button and connect the device to the computer.
  4. A message will appear on the device display screen confirming the connection and a 16MB partition will be viewable in My Computer.
  5. Release the REC button.
STEP 3 – Download and update the firmware
  1. Download the firmware from the Sansa Forum.
  2. Open the zip file
  3. Extract all the firmware files to the 16MB-FORMAT drive.
  4. Disconnect the player.
  5. Slide the Hold switch to the unlock position.
  6. Turn on the player

Problems with sansa 1gb express model BB0704UIB

have you tried holding down the power, up volume, and down volume at the same time for 5-10 secs? Sometimes my sansa spazzes out where it wont turn on with the power button and the comp wont recognize the device. Holding those 3 down for about 10 secs resets it.
