I have Prolink 900 MHz wireless loudspeakers, probably the same as yours. The transmitter is labelled on the bottom as "CAN 2579 102 1811, UNI-ART PRECISE PRODUCTS LTD". That transmitter comes with an AC/DC adapter whose output is labelled as 12VDC, 300mA, with polarity positive outside, negative inside. Note this polarity is the OPPOSITE of what is typical for AC adapters.

Acoustic Research Model AW871 wireless sterio speakers

Your connection between the AR transmitter and the ONKYO receiver sounds solid. I'd guess it's the wireless speakers that are the wrong point, or at least that's what I'd look at first. Doing a bit of research, I noticed a couple minor points. First, these seem prone to RF interference from other RF devices. Have to tried switching channels on them? Second, someone reported theirs would not work properly unless the speakers were turned on just before the transmitter, and turned off shortly after the transmitter. Apparently you have to hold the button on the front in for 5 seconds to turn the speakers on or off. I know that's rather basic, but it's been a few days and no one else has responded, so I figured we should start somewhere.

How to get sony air-sa10 to pair with str-dh520

Interesting problem. Note that this wireless system is proprietary - meaning that only Sony provides a solution for you.

From what I have been able to research (remember, Google is your friend), you will need an adapter for your receiver to generate the proper wireless signals. I bought a samson se50 headset microphone to go with my GTD Audio wireless system. It has the correct adapter plug to plug in to the transmitter. The plug is a mini XLR plug. The microphone does not...

You need power from the transmitter to power this mic. See your mics specs to determine if it needs "Phantom Power"
Perhaps the transmitter doesn't supply power. Condenser mics may not work. Stay with the dynamic type. IMHO

If your adapter has a stereo mini male plug, you will probably have to buy a headphone adapter plug and use the headphone jack on the stereo for your input connection.

Plug free end of audio cord into headphones jack on ur computer. put batteries in the speaker or plug it in to wall and push power button. push reset button on front of speaker and it should work. start playing music

AR Wirells Speak Transmitter Stopped Working

Hi there ,

Let me know if you did the steps below, then we can proceed form there:

Try unplugging the transmitter from power adapter, if it also has batteries remove them. Also unplug transmitter audio cable.

Then remove batteries/unplug adapters from speakers.

Wait few minutes and reconnect the system.

This is a proper hard reset, and can fix minor problems.

If when you re connect the transmitter does not glow, or you do not have sound on one or both channels then there is a fault.

Check the transmitter audio cable, a short in there can cause troubles.

Hi I also post in here , so that you can let me know how it goes.

If you find no problems , then unit is defective, as it is under warranty contact Acoustic Research to validate the warranty here and get the transmitter or the whole set replaced.
