I can't see my symbol of my sound card on the task bar

Msupdate has changed the IRQ of the sound driver/card so it's useless to look for that now...
i suggest u to buy a 1$ USB sound card in Ebay and attached the speakers to that on ur USB port....i can't see my symbol - 0b137f6.jpg

Sound is not


1) Check the task bar sound icon mute active or not (Tick mark view on mute box)
2) Sound icon not in task bar check device settings.
3) Go control panel > System > Hardware > Device manager
4) Sound, Video, game controllers view problems.

My soundcard is disfungsi please help me....


The computer default sound card is expected to perform compartibible to the requests. Usually the sound card malfunctions are either broken caused from physical impact on the computer or fluid seepageg. Power on the computer to arrive at the menu setting area where the sound is regulatable. For example, observe the computer task bar area to the right to perform reset of the extensivess required from card. Setting the computers sound to an extensive request caused from prorgams that have equalizers may have over tasked the sound cards settings least displayng as expected.

The sound symbol has a red circle x on it and i can't hear any sound


Left click on the icon. volume bar will appear vertically above the icon. Below the volume scale is another icon that looks like the one one on the task bar. Left click it once and it will un mute the sound.

check in device manager is your sound card driver installed properly
there shouldn't be this (!) symbol
2 check the volume icon in task bar (mute or in lowest rate)

How do i turn off the sound


Hi,

You can use the function button in your keyboard + Mute sound button in the top keyboard rows to mute and unmute the sounds.

(fn key + Mute symbol key)

Not recognizing the speakers.


Operating systems don't auto detect speakers. You have to go into the sound setup in Control Panel and you can tell the computer if you have headphones, surround sound, 2 speaker, 4 speaker setup or whatever. If your sound just isn't working then you need to go into or sound card setup and probably tell it what you have plugged into each jack or let it auto detect your speakers.

On your task bar look for a speaker symbol
right-click
click on adjust sound properties or something similar
there you can configure the microphone

Media test failure


due to current fluctuations my smps and ups was burnt, so i called the technician he replaced the ups,smps and motherboard ,and then my computer turned on when it was booting it showed a message like "media test failure check cables" and then i can see my desktop with all icons.but i dont see any sound symbol on the task bar the place where we can time.when i open the control panel>sound and speech options it shows like no audio device.
when i try to play any song through windows media player it shows a message like sound card or sound controller is not installed in the computer install the sound card.and my computer has internal sound card. what should i do now, shall i purchase new sound card so that i can connect it to pci

No sound on my laptop?


Start --> Control Panel --> Sounds and Audio Devices.
Make sure it is picking up the sound card and tick the box to show the icon in the task bar.
Click apply then open the sound control from the task bar and make sure nothing is muted.
