My SD Card is stuck in my Kodak Easyshare C713 and I think its because I dropped it in the sand, but the battery/ SD card door was closed. I can't get it out.

Hello Gage, The SD memory card only installs one way. If there is a problem with the card going all the way down then the contacts in the camera are damaged.

I can't find my disk to download my camara on my new computer. Where do I go to download it from your site? Kodak easyshare C713 C813

http://support.en.kodak.com/app/home/selected/true
You'll find links for "Downloads and Drivers" and "Installation and Setup" along the right side.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com )..

I am attempting to transfer photos from my C713, but I can't power the camera on when it is plugged into the USB. I have changed the batteries and the camera will power on when the USB is disconnected...

Easy shares are set up so they won't respond when plugged in to usb. When you turn the camera on and then run the easyshare program and lastly connect the usb cable, then the pictures and video will transfer to the computer.
You can also take the SD card out of the camera and put it in your computer and transfer pictures that way as well.

How to install memort chip in m530 kodak digital camera?

Turn the camera off. Open the battery door on the bottom right of the camera. Insert an SD/SDHC card into the slot, with the electrical contacts first and with the contacts facing the back of the camera until it clicks into place. The card will only fit one way, so don't force it. Close the door.

I have a Kodak c713 digital camera and no matter what i try i cannot transfer pictures from the camera to the computer.

Simple. Power on the camera, then plug the USB cable from the camera to your computer.

If you're using Windows XP or higher, a menu box will appear and you'll be prompted to select one of these programs to view the picture content. I elected to close this window and instead, I clicked on the My Computer icon on the desktop. From there, you'll see the Easy Share camera listed. Double click on that (assuming you're using the internal memory of the camera - otherwise, if you're using an SD Card - which I haven't tested as I just got the camera as a 15 year gift from my company and I am now testing it - otherwise using an SD card, the camera/card will appear in Windows Explorer/My Computer, as a removable drive).

Once you click on the camera (or the removable drive if you're using an SD card), select all those picture files and copy. Open another My Computer or Windows Explorer and create a new folder and past the files into the new folder, or just create a new folder on the Desktop, and paste the copied files into there. Simple.
