I have a Dakota Daniels grandfather clock. The chimes work, the pendulum works, but the clock hands don't move.

Change the batteries. The weight makes the pendulum and chimes work, but the clock in this thing is battery operated :>)

Accurate hourly Westminster chime movement tolls the hour - Automatic night shut off

I have a Sharper Image Swivel Worldtime Clock model # M1600/M1601 I have lost the instruction manual. I need helpin changing the temp. fromCentigrade to Farenheit and I need to change callender mo.and...

To change the calendar, push the mode button until the calendar section starts flashing. Then press the up or down button to move the calendar month and year first. Once you get to the right month and year, press set, then the date should start flashing. Again, use the up or down button to get to the correct date, then push set. That should get it done.

Regarding the temperature, I used to know how to do that but am now basically clueless. My batteries went out, and when I changed them the temp started up as Celsius and I cannot get it fixed.

How can I start a small Quartz clock?

The first thing to try would be to test the battery. If the battery is good the problem may be the mechanical works need to be started in motion. If it has swinging parts try to get them swinging. If it has hands set the time on the clock. Hold the the clock in your hand with the face towards you and rotate it clockwise a few times to get the gears moving. Sometimes just letting it sit upright for a day or so will be enough to let the clock start working. I hope this is helpful to you.
