You may have to leave the telly off a few days so it will have time to de-humidify before trying to re-start it again. Fortunately you are already familiar with light electronics, so this won't be much of a challenge for you. In your case you most likely have only 2 boards to deal with. The power board and the inverter board. Sometimes these 2 are on the same board. Your main LCD should be unaffected, but your power board is most likely dead. Simply Ebay shop for that and try turning it on again when you replace it. I usually replace both the power board and the inverter board just to be sure the problem is completely resolved.
