This could be a sign that your laptop is overheating. If you touch the laptop while it is running & you find it too hot, make sure that the fan is running properly & that the air ways are not blocked.
You can blow compressed air into the cooling vents of the fan. If you notice clouds of dust coming out, then it might be a good idea to disassemble the laptop, clean the fan & air ways, & reassemble it back. If the fan has failed & is no longer running, it might need to be replaced.

If none of this solves the problem, or is not the case, then you might have a bad motherboard.

My Gateway One ZX Series will not stay powered up, after a minute or so it just powers off and have had it less than a year

Tries it with other power outlets to see, if this was not caused by the outlet itself.Tries change to another a/c power cord to see if solved this problem, this could caused by a shorted power a/c power cable itself. If u still have the same problems after u tries all these solutions then the computer power supply unit itself have intermittent short in it components of the power supply unit itself and it is dying. The computer is under a year old take warenty repair,so they can replaced the power supply unit for u under warenty.

No power to hose for power brush.

Does your power nozzle have an external power cable, (strapped on the outside of the hose) with a plug at the end where it connects to the Vacuum cleaner itself?
Or is the power conducted internally -- almost invisible, inside the hose?

If the former-- Usually the plug connections wear out-

Either way, you need to measure some voltages at the Power Nozzle itself---
Can you check with a volt meter, to see if voltage is getting to the Power Nozzle itself?
If so, look for a tripped Circuit breaker inside the power nozzle head-- or a broken wire?

Let me know what you have and what you find, and get back with me-

Subwoofer powers itself off

I Think its a loose connection in electric circuit. Due to vibration in the woofer the connection might be going off. Check the power circuit for any loose connections.

GPS GARMIN 340 turn it off by itself.

Does the unit comes on by itself once power is applied to the unit? If it doesn't come on by itself, then there is a problem with your power supply. The unit is designed to detect when an external power supply is applied and turn itself on. It is also designed design to detect if you unplug the unit from the external power supply. It will say "Lost external power, shutting down in 30 seconds". BTW are using Garmin cables?

Garmin C330 resets itself

The first problem with it powering itself off is a battery problem. Your battery is not hold a charge.

The second problem with it powering itself on with the power cord attached is a power cord issue. The unit is suppose to automatically power itself on if a power cord is attached to it. This is Garmin way of turning the unit on when you start your car. Most auto cigarette lighter will cut power if the ignition is off, and restore power when the ignition is on.

Garmin uses this to turn the unit on and off. If the unit was being powered by the the cigarette lighter then it say unit is shutting down in 20 seconds after the power is cut.
