I have got the same issue when using the blender. Under the blender there is a rubber part making the connection between the base "a1" and the blender "h3". In my case the rubber is worn out so my blade doesn't turn anymore... I am trying to find out how to get an other one! Is it the same problem for you?

How to use breville fp21 food processor

Make sure the jug is sitting correctly on the base and operating the safety switch. If it is sitting in place and doesn't go it's an internal electrical fault. Some models do require you to have both blender and processor bowls in place to operate but i am not completely sure with your model as there is very little information available online for it.

The Blender attachment will not turn, just grinds and smokes.

The motor shaft that spins the teeth that are on the base of the blender may be frozen up for some reason. If you purchased the duet within the last 3 years and have a receipt, call Cuisinart to get it repaired in warranty - even if you don't have a receipt, your serial number may still save you. If you purchased it more than 3 years ago, let me know.

Blender bottom stuck

I tried the vinegar thing but it didn't quite work. We blended some smoothies with yogurt and it leaked through the bottom. No big deal, we tightened it up. We didn't clean it immediately. By the time we went to clean it, it was stuck. The vinegar didn't work, tried baking soda with vinegar, didn't work. Finally we ran the bottom underneath hot water for about 5-10 minutes. Finally after one strong turn the bottom came off. We have an oyster, the base can be used as well to take the bottom off but it turns counter-clockwise.
