Does the machine heat the water and make coffee? It is odd that both warmers don't work because they are controlled by two different switches. The bottom burner comes on with the tank heater and thermostat. The top heater is one switch by itself. If you are handy with a small screwdriver, unplug the machine, take the top plate off and check to see that all the wires are connected to the elements and to the switches. If you can check the elements to see that there are no burned spots, usually the elements are good. My opinion is that the attachment from the main terminal block where the wire enters the machine has a loose wire.

Jus got coffeemaker for it. I make coffee in it and the burner goes off in about 30 minutes and don't keep the coffee hot. I cant make the burner come back on...why?

The 30 minute machine shut off is a protective control. If you want to continue to use the coffee after 30 minutes, you can try the following:

1- Transfer the coffee in a Thermos immediately after coffee is made and hot.
2- Transfer the coffee in a metal pot with a lid and place it on a burner at the lowest flame setting.

Manufacturers try to included features for most common and popular use. There is no coffee maker that will suit individual circumstances, like & conveniences.

Coffee maker is flashing error, what do I do?

If it is an Error 2, Drain the coffee maker and open up the bottom part.
You will see the burner with a metal clip.
There are Two components on the burner. You want one with the brown wire with a white cloth coating. Slide the coating down to expose the Thermistor. Take a small piece of alluminum foil and cover the thermistor. Slide white cover back over the newly covered thermistor and put you coffee maker back together and enjoy your coffe

Hot water will not come down thru coffee

Your pour over coffee brewer has a reservoir that holds more than a pot of water. First thing you need to do is turn off the machine. Then put the empty coffee pot on the burner. Then take another container and fill it with fresh cold water and pour it slowly into the coffee maker until it starts to come out into the coffee pot. Stop pouring in water.

Now turn the machine on and let it heat up. Now you can brew normally. The reservoir has to be filled before you turn it on or you will end up eventually burning up the heating element.

My coffee making won't brew coffee?

If it turns on and nothing is happening it may be that the burner for the water is has gone out. At that point its cheaper getting another coffee maker then fixing it. They all come with a one year warranty you can probably send it back to Manufacturer and get it replaced.

The top burner on our bunn coffee maker is getting to hot, causing the coffee to pop, do you have any suggestions on how to fix this problem? Please advise

Bunn makes a spacer that goes on top of the burner to put space between the burner and the coffee pot, or you can make your own out of a coat hanger. The only other way to fix this is to replace the warmer plate.

With the machine plugged in and turned out, pour in 1 quart of white vinegar and place the decanter on the base. Leave the vinegar in the machine for 2 hours and then flush it back out with 8-10 decanters of water.

The warming plate is controlled by the same thermal switch that cycles while brewing and they are mechanically in contact; it switches at about 150 degrees C.  Most later coffee makers have a time limitation as well and if they are so designed, will turn off completely after 30 minutes to 2 hours after the brewing is finished to reduce the chance of the machine failing. If you insist on having one that doesn't behave this way, you can buy a cheap one from a 'dollar store,' they don't have that feature and will continue to cycle until turned off.  Your B&D isn't malfunctioning, that is how it was designed.
