Question about Everex StepNote NC1500 Notebook
Boot to a bott disk if it is an older system which it appers to be type format c: /u/s at the command prompt. (the flashing thing it will look different depending on brand and os most are just a flashing line. you should take the extra step to typing fdisk and deleting the partitions and creating newones. This utility is pretty self explanitory when you are in it. I can giude you through it if you need it. You need to run the fdisk at the command prompt.
If it is newer software like XP it will come up with a option when booting frok the cd while reinstalling. Choose dlete partition and let it make a new one not just format the drive it will give you more safttey because some viruses can write them selves into the boot sector and escape a format.
