  • Anonymous May 19, 2008

My computer all of a sudden stopped recognizing my Targus mouse after several months of use. I have replaced the batteries but to no avail. I suspect that I re-install the mouse this might work. Can't remember how to install it.

Normal 0 Try disconnecting the Mouse Receiver from the USB port and reinstall the CD software program. When the program asks you to connect the Mouse Receiver to the USB port, do so and it should work.

My targus wireless mouse

I had this happen to me after reprogramming my tv remote too close to my laptop and mouse. Try resetting the reciever and then the mouse by pushing the reset buttons on each one while they are plugged in ( reciever first, then the mouse ).
