Possible fault with a virus in the software. You might have to reloadd the software, get help ffrom Nokia and always try to download only safe files.

Hi,

Try freeing up space on your mobile phone by deleting Music or unwanted files if this doesn't work then try the following steps below.

  1. 1Before you format your phone, make sure you back up all your ringtones, SMS and picture messages and most importantly your contacts. You can use the Nokia PC Suite to do this.
  2. 2Press Red key, select disconnect.
  3. 3Once you've done this, key in *#7370# *#7780# . It will immediately prompt you to restart your phone.
  4. 4Select 'Yes' and the phone will restart after formatting. It takes about 2 to 3 minutes to complete the process. Also ensure that your phone is well charged before you format.
  5. 5Now restore all your ringtones, messages and contacts and you once again have a fresh OS.

How to download nokia n73 inbuilt ringtone

Hi

There are two ways to get the inbuilt songs

1. from the following site
and it asks
for password

The Password is : www.gizmogates.com

Just download the file and enjoy!

2. You can get the inbuilt songs from the inbuilt memory itself
for that just download Xplore.sis From
and install on phone

after installing go to menu >tools> configuratioon check all :- "Show hidden files", "
Show system files" ,
" show Rom Drives",
"Show ram Drives".

then click back
now you will see a drive with letter Z (Which is the inbuilt memory )

go to drive z

Now go to

Z:\Data\Sounds\Digital\

There you will see the list of all inbuilt songs
which can be copied by this xplore applicaton to the desired folder.

Hope this will help you.

Low Memory for N72

hi, do you have an extra mem card in the phone if you have then move some data to this as the phone dont use the memory on card unless you put stuff their yourself, so the phone will say mem full even if memory card is empty so try this first.
1. delete any messages in inbox/outbox/sent messages as these will take up mem
2. delete any old phone numbers/pictures/screen savers that you dont use.
3. the best way to free up loads of memory is by deleting all of the free ringtones you got with the phone most of the free ones you will never use so i deleted all of these and just kept the ringtones i used most people never use the free ones you get when buying the phone so doing this will free up loads of room. Also delete any ringtones you have put on their that you never use as the music ringtones can use loads of mem alot more than the standard tones.
4. every time you send a message your phone stores them in sent messages so delete all of these.
Once you have done all of this you will find you have loads of free memory.
The best thing to do if you have a memory card in your phone is move all the music/music ringtones that you want to keep onto the card doing this means you can still use the ringtones and free up loads of the phones memory.
The phone dont take the mem card into acount when its telling you mem full ok so put as much on mem card as you can ok.
Let me know how you get on and also if you need further assistance ok

My video does not record for long enough

Hi the only problem you can solve yourself for this is by deleting some of the files you have saved on the phone if you have loads of new ringtones that you have put on or loads of photos saved on phone this will take up all the memory and wont allow you to record for long.
What i did on my phone is delete all the standard ringtones you get with the phone and all the ringtones you never use i also deleted anything that came with the phone like screen savers and wall papers delete all the ones you dont use and will never use after doing this that should give you longer recording time.
The best thing to do is go through the phone and delete any messages, pictures, ringtones, screen savers, wallpapers anything that you dont need or use as keeping pictures and ringtones on your phone uses lots of the memory up.
After you delete all this you should have got a longer recording time let me know how you get on ok
