Above is your service manual, below is your user manual.

Ok well I have seen this thing countless times, this is a fairly classic switchmode power supply, problem, insomuch, as the PSU, has sensed a major fault condition, and is attempting to shut down to avoid a fire, explosion, or both. This set had developed a problem, that is so severe that the set must be shut down, so the protection Circuitry, has "Sensed" this and done so. Sometimes, when it shuts down, the fault disappears temporarily, usually because the component cools down, then the PSU, will start again, sense the fault shut down, and over and over again, until it ultimately fails completely. This set should be removed from the Power, and in my professional recommendation, you should get a "Quote" for repair, from, an, Approved Service Center, this point is very important for a good result, Always contact, their local, "Head Office"Philips in your case here. Contact them and ask for a referral to a service center. Now, when you get the information you want, then you can decide as to repair of replacement. The reason we want an approved agent, is that way, all the engineers are trained on their own brand sets, they have seen almost all faults, and will get the job done quicker, and for less cost, and usually have parts on hand, also sometimes, there has been a service bulletin in issued and the repair may be subsided or even free.

However if you wish to try DIY, (Not really recommended, if only due to the equipment needed to do so)Anyway, I have included the service manual for you to use. Work through the troubleshooting procedures, and try to isolate the issue with a view to repair.

Hello,
the error light sequence that you are seeing is indicating a "backlight error". Most likely you have a bad inverter board -the board that powers up the back-lights behind the display panel. They might be available via ebay if you are a DIYer, or you need to call for sony service.
Good Luck!

Hello
Three blinks of standby light to Sony TVs indicates that the regulated voltage output from power regulator board is above thatn normal. The problem is with its power supply regulator board. Replace all the electrolytic cpacitors on that board with new ones. Replace all of them including small and large ones, at one time. OK.

Tv won't turn on. It blinks green then red.

Hi,
Question shows tv is Sony KDF-60WF655.
Green light blinks when tv gets prepare to fire up lamp, check internal circuits then show picture on front screen.
Red light blinking shows some kind of internal problem during circuit check and protection got activated upon some failure.
Count the red light blink as you will see 3 second long pause and post it here to diagnose what section of tv got problem.
Did you replaced its lamp in last 2-3 years?
Thanks.

No picture and no sound

Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.

TV not working

Check the lamp door assembly, if the lights are alternating red then green, then this might mean that the metal pin that looks like a roofing nail is not making contact with the metal clip. Remove screws, reset panel in place and turn on, the red power button should be the only light on.
Good Luck!!!
