Question about Kaspersky Labs Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 for PC
First, make sure your computer is running well and fast.
Scan with Malwarebytes, running in safe mode is most effective.
Remove as much from your start up folder as you can. You can use CCleaner to do this easily, or use a program like ashampoo start up tuner (free)
Now i would advise AVG 9 free or Microsoft Security essentials, for your security.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

SOURCE: slow vista
WINS Vista is a demanding, slow OE, a step backwards from Microsoft's normally-forward-moving operating environments (systems). I was v. disappointed w. it when I bought it as part of a new desktop nearly 2 yrs ago. However, it is not all bad news, Waelabunijem. If you can get a RAM upgrade to 2GHZ, then Wins Vista is as good as anything; it doesn't matter whether it's XP, Vista or the about-to-happen Wins 7. This is the best money you'll ever have spent. Also, I expect you've got a reasonably-aged PC with a decent microprocessor. As to anti-virus, get AVG ID Protection-it's only c.USD50. Wins Defender is a decent anti-adware programme installed already on all versions of Vista.
Get the RAM!!!!!!
