SOURCE: Trust keyboard and wireless mouse

Normal 0 Assuming that you have good batteries installed, turn the Keyboard over and locate the small reset/connect button on the back of the keyboard and press it. Then try typing to see if it is working. If not try pressing the button on the receiver and then on the keyboard. Try typing, should work okay.
Hope this helps. Bud

SOURCE: my microspft wireless keyboard suddenly

Hi,
Go to this Microsoft article and read through: Microsoft kb838398
The steps here includes all troubleshooting you can use for response failures in wireless keyboard and mouse.
If the steps did not resolve your issue, try unplugging the receiver first and reboot the computer. Plug back the receiver and reboot again. This is to refresh the cmos of your wireless keyboard and mouse settings.
If all of these fails, your keyboard is deemed defective.
Hope this works for you.
